As the number of cases falls, Delhi starts its&nbsp;fifth phase of unlocking. Bars, restaurants, gyms, and yoga classes will operate at 50%; Weddings in marriage halls can have a maximum of 50 guests.&nbsp;&nbsp;

As the number of fresh cases continues to decline, the Delhi government has decided to further ease the Covid-19 restrictions in the national capital.&nbsp; On Saturday, the Delhi Disaster Management Authority announced the fresh guidelines which will come into effect from Monday in the fifth phase of <a href="https://www.editorji.com/story/delhi-unlocks-markets-to-open-from-10am-to-8pm-eateries-with-50-cap-1623571655757" target="_blank">Delhi unlock</a>.&nbsp; Gyms and yoga institutes are allowed to operate at 50% capacity.
Marriage halls, banquet halls and hotels have also been allowed to hold wedding ceremonies with a maximum of 50 guests. However, the maximum number of people allowed to attend marriage ceremonies held at home or in the court has been capped at 20 .
In the order issued by the DDMA, the owners of marriage halls, banquet halls, and hotels along with gym and yoga institute owners have been tasked with ensuring that <a href="https://www.editorji.com/covid-19" target="_blank">Covid&nbsp;</a>protocols are followed at the premises.

The DDMA's order further stated that the prohibited and restricted activities in the city will continue till 5 am on July 5.

Markets and malls have been allowed to open on an &ldquo;odd-even&rdquo; basis from 10am-8pm, while standalone shops can open on all days. Offices have also been allowed to open. Government offices will work at a capacity of 100% for Grade-A officers while for officers below Grade-A, 50% strength has been allowed. Private offices can work with 50% staff though work from home or staggered timings have been recommended by the Delhi government. E-commerce services can also resume while status quo has been ordered on all remaining activities.

The Capital on Sunday reported 381 new cases from the preceding 24 hours, taking its infection tally to 1,429,244. This was the city&rsquo;s lowest single-day rise since 368 fresh infections were reported on March 15.
