"Our volunteers will reach out to people and get them to fill the 'Bachat Patra,' where they will record their savings through our free welfare initiatives," he said.
Highlighting key policies, he stated that the AAP government&rsquo;s initiatives, including free bus travel for students, Mahila Samman Yojana, and Sanjeevani Yojana&mdash;proposed in its manifesto&mdash;contribute significantly to citizens' savings.
With the Union Budget set to be presented on February 1, Kejriwal contrasted AAP's governance with the BJP&rsquo;s economic approach. "Budgets usually bring inflation and impact household finances. But in Delhi, our government ensures savings for every family. On the other hand, the BJP has repeatedly said it will discontinue these benefits if it comes to power," he alleged.
He further accused the BJP of prioritizing corporate interests over public welfare. "We use the budget for the welfare of people, while the BJP directs it towards its businessman friends. In Mumbai, they handed over Dharavi land to one of their associates. In Delhi, their goal is to grab land, not to serve people," Kejriwal asserted.
With Delhi heading to the polls on February 5 and results set to be declared on February 8, AAP is banking on its welfare policies to secure voter support.

In a post on X (formerly Twitter), Kejriwal shared that the ammonia levels in the water brought to Delhi had decreased significantly from 7 parts per million (ppm) to 2 ppm, effectively averting a potential water crisis.&nbsp;

He celebrated this achievement, stating, "Many congratulations to the people of Delhi. Our struggle bore fruit. The poisonous water that was being sent to Delhi has now stopped. The amount of ammonia in the water coming to Delhi has decreased from 7 ppm to 2 ppm. If we had not raised our voice and struggled, half the population of Delhi would not have been getting water today. We saved Delhi from a huge water crisis."
In the same post, Kejriwal also commented on a notice issued by the Election Commission, which had threatened him regarding his statements on the water crisis. He addressed the matter directly, saying, "The Election Commission has issued a notice and threatened me. My reply to the Election Commission."
Earlier on Friday, Kejriwal had sent a letter to the Election Commission, accusing Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini of being complicit in the water contamination issue.&nbsp;
In his letter, Kejriwal demanded that a criminal case be filed against Saini, claiming the ammonia levels in the raw water supplied to Delhi from Haryana had reached dangerous and unprecedented heights. He pointed out that ammonia levels began to sharply increase around January 15, with the contamination reaching 7 ppm shortly after.&nbsp;
Kejriwal further explained that Delhi&rsquo;s Chief Minister, Atishi, had contacted the Haryana CM several times in an attempt to resolve the crisis, but her efforts were unsuccessful.
In the letter, Kejriwal detailed that Delhi's Chief Minister had personally requested Haryana's CM in December to either reduce the ammonia levels or provide additional water to dilute the contamination. Although Haryana&rsquo;s CM assured action would be taken, Kejriwal claimed no meaningful steps were made, and eventually, the Haryana CM stopped answering calls from Delhi&rsquo;s CM.
Kejriwal alleged that there was a "deliberate conspiracy" on the part of Haryana's CM, a BJP leader, to influence the Delhi elections by sending highly polluted water to the capital.&nbsp;
He argued that the strategy was aimed at creating an artificial water crisis that would have blamed the AAP government in Delhi. This, Kejriwal claimed, would have led to severe public misery for millions of Delhi residents.
Meanwhile, the Election Commission held an urgent meeting with Arvind Kejriwal to discuss the matter, adjusting its schedule due to the ongoing election campaign in Delhi.&nbsp;
The Commission gave Kejriwal a chance to explain his claims regarding the water contamination and its alleged political motives.

Ahead of the Delhi Assembly elections on February 5, residents across the capital have voiced concerns over a range of civic issues, including deteriorating road conditions, poor water quality, and rising pollution levels.
Local issues are taking center stage in the lead-up to the elections, as citizens hope for change. Mohammad Sadiq, a resident from Seelampur in northeast Delhi, highlighted the ongoing problem of contaminated water. &ldquo;We have electricity, but the water quality is poor. We have to buy clean water for drinking and cooking, which costs ₹30 to ₹50 daily. The roads in our area are also in bad shape,&rdquo; he said, calling for the next government to address these issues.
In Hardevpuri, Durgapuri, Harsh Tyagi spoke about multiple challenges, including narrow lanes, inadequate parking, and insufficient green cover. &ldquo;The pollution level in our area is high due to the lack of trees. Narrow lanes cause parking congestion, and there is no proper drainage system,&rdquo; he explained.
Further concerns were raised by Nisha Sharma from northwest Delhi, who mentioned bad roads and stray cattle. "While we have electricity and clean water, the roads are full of potholes, especially in the inner lanes of Trinagar and Wazirpur. Stray cattle are also a challenge," Sharma added.
Environmental advocate Verhean Khanna, founder of the New Delhi Nature Society, called for increased efforts to reduce waste and improve greenery to combat pollution. "We need to produce less waste, particularly plastic. We should have proper channels for disposing of electronic waste and convert biodegradable waste into fertilizers," he said.
Khushboo Tiwari from Chhatarpur raised concerns over drainage overflow during the monsoon season. &ldquo;Traffic congestion on Mehrauli-Gurugram Road is a problem during peak hours, and the drainage system overflows during rains. There are also hanging wires and electric poles near homes, which pose safety risks,&rdquo; Tiwari added.
Bittu Bhardwaj, a southwest Delhi resident, pointed out that Palam is one of the most polluted areas in the city, second only to Anand Vihar. &ldquo;Construction work here causes high pollution levels. The roads are in bad condition, leading to traffic congestion,&rdquo; Bhardwaj said.
Sunil Kumar Aledia, Executive Director at the Centre for Holistic Development, emphasized the need for collective efforts to address pollution and civic issues in Delhi. He noted that the increasing population density is straining the city&rsquo;s waste management system and impacting the environment. &ldquo;We need proper planning and participation from all stakeholders to tackle rising civic issues. The government must also have a plan for vehicle management,&rdquo; Aledia said.
As residents demand improvements, these local concerns are expected to play a significant role in shaping the election outcome. Voting for the Delhi Assembly elections will take place on February 5, with the counting scheduled for February 8.
