Delhi CM Atishi claimed BJP chose Ramesh Bidhuri as its CM candidate for assembly polls, calling him the "most abusive" leader. Atishi, contesting from Kalkaji, faces BJP's Bidhuri and Congress's Alka Lamba.

Delhi Chief Minister Atishi, citing "credible" sources, claimed on Friday that the BJP plans to name Ramesh Bidhuri as their chief ministerial candidate for the upcoming assembly elections. She criticized Bidhuri, labeling him as the &ldquo;most abusive&rdquo; leader in the party, and suggested that his selection was a reward for his behavior.
Atishi, who is seeking re-election from Kalkaji, will face BJP's Ramesh Bidhuri and Congress's Alka Lamba in the polls.

In a press conference, Atishi remarked, "Sources have revealed that the Gali Galauj Party has decided to project Ramesh Bidhuri as their chief ministerial candidate for his abusive remarks."
The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), led by Arvind Kejriwal, has frequently accused the BJP of indulging in personal attacks, dubbing the party the &ldquo;Gali Galauj Party&rdquo; in the lead-up to the assembly elections.

Ahead of the Delhi Assembly elections, AAP supremo Arvind Kejriwal on Tuesday announced Rs 10 lakh insurance for the city&rsquo;s auto drivers.
Kejriwal, who had lunch with the family members of an auto driver in Kondli constituency, also promised Rs 1 lakh as assistance to the auto drivers for the marriage of their daughters.
The former Delhi chief minister said Rs 2,500 would be given twice yearly as uniform allowance to auto drivers. He also assured their children of free coaching and the relaunching of the &lsquo;PoochO&rsquo; app.
The app allows people to access the database developed by the Delhi Integrated Multi-Model Transit System of registered auto drivers&rsquo; mobile numbers and call them up to book a ride.
The elections for the 70-member Delhi Assembly are due in February next year. The AAP pitted against the BJP and the Congress, is working hard to retain power for a third time in a row.
