Johnson is introduced as Teth-Adam who is killed by his enslavers but he returns to life by a mystical bolt of lightning apparently summoned by his son. The young man dies soon after due to the strain of the ritual. Black Adam is now in search of justice using his newfound powers.
The trailer also introduces Pierce Brosnan as Doctor Fate, Noah Centineo as Atom Smasher, Aldis Hodge as Hawkman, and Quintessa Swindell as Cyclone.

Desi&nbsp;Twitter immediately took to the micro blogging site to call out the makers of the film, using the hashtag #AntiIndiaSuperman. Users said that the makers added to an anti India rhetoric and&nbsp;accused the film of spreading propaganda against Kashmir. Many also asked for the makers to delete the section from the fillm.&nbsp;

Black Adam takes on the power of Shazam as one of DC comics' baddest bad guys. 
Joining Black Adam are cast members playing heroes of the 'Justice Society of America', including Noah Centineo as Atom Smasher, Aldis Hodge as Hawkman, Quintessa Swindell as Cyclone, Sarah Shahi as Adrianna Tomaz aka Isis and Pierce Brosnan as Doctor Fate. 
Directed by Jaume Collet-Serra, 'Black Adam' premieres July 29, 2022. 
The 'Black Adam' first look was revealed Saturday at DC Fandome, an annual online event promising trailers, news and first-look previews of forthcoming movies, TV shows, games and cartoons. 
DC's lineup of forthcoming movies also includes Robert Pattinson as 'The Batman', appearing alongside Zoe Kravitz and Colin Farrell. Underwater sequel 'Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom' is also on the way, with Jason Momoa and Amber Heard.
