The NTA has declared CUET-UG 2025 results. One student scored 100 percentile in four subjects; 17 others aced three.

One candidate has scored 100 percentile in four subjects in the Common Entrance University Test-Under Graduate (CUET-UG), while 17 candidates from across the country have bagged the top score in three subjects, the National Testing Agency (NTA) on Friday announced.
The NTA conducted CUET-UG in computer-based test (CBT) mode for 13,54,699 candidates. These candidates applied for various combinations of subjects for the academic session 2025-2026.
"Only one candidate has scored 100 percentile in his or her opted four out of five subjects. A total of 17 candidates have scored 100 percentile in three subjects, while 150 candidates have scored 100 percentile in two subjects. A total of 2,679 candidates have scored 100 percentile in one subject," said a senior NTA official.
In total, 37 subjects (13 languages, 23 domain-specific subjects and General Aptitude Test) were offered to the candidates in the CUET-UG 2025.
Candidates could choose up to a maximum of five subjects, including languages and the General Aptitude Test.
322 unique question papers and 1,059 total question papers, including 13 languages (total 57,940 questions), were administered over a period of 19 days in 35 shifts.
The medium of the question paper was in 13 languages, including English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu and Urdu.
The CUET-UG 2025 was conducted in 300 cities, including 15 cities outside the country in Abu Dhabi, Doha, Dubai, Munich, Kathmandu, Kuala Lumpur, Kuwait City, Lagos, Manama, Muscat, Riyadh, Sharjah, Singapore, West Java and Washington.
The CUET-UG, which is a gateway to undergraduate admissions in the country, saw a record 13.5 lakh applications this year. The maximum candidates appeared for English (8.14 lakhs) followed by Chemistry (5.70 lakh) and General Test (6.59 lakh).
In a pattern shift from last year, the exam was conducted only in the Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode.
In the first edition of the exam in 2022, CUET-UG was plagued by technical glitches. Also, as a result of tests for a subject being conducted over multiple shifts, the scores had to be normalised during the announcement of results.
The exam was conducted in a hybrid mode for the first time in 2024. It was cancelled across Delhi the night before it was to be held due to logistical reasons.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) said Tuesday the The Common University Entrance Test (CUET)-UG scheduled for May 15 stands postponed for centres across Delhi due to "unavoidable reasons".
The examination will now be held in Delhi on May 29 and revised admit cards will be issued for candidates, it said.
"It is being informed to all the concerned candidates and stakeholders that due to unavoidable reasons, the test papers (Chemistry - 306, Biology - 304, English - 101, and General Test - 501) which were earlier scheduled on 15 May 2024 stand postponed for the candidates appearing in Centres across Delhi only," the NTA said in a statement.
It further said that the examination scheduled for May 15 will be held in all other cities across the country, including in Gurugram, Ghaziabad, Faridabad and Noida, and abroad.
Further examinations scheduled for other dates (May 16, 17 and 18) at all centres, including those in Delhi, will be held as scheduled, the NTA added.&nbsp;

The National Testing Agency (NTA) on Saturday delisted 53 exam centres from conducting the Common University Entrance Test for Under Graduate (CUET-UG) admissions after exams had to be rescheduled over the past two days following 'technical glitches' at several centres.


The action was taken for 'non-compliance of protocols' and the centres were also warned of strict action in case of "sabotage".

The National Testing Agency (NTA) on Saturday delisted 53 exam centres from conducting the Common University Entrance Test for Under Graduate (CUET-UG) admissions after exams had to be rescheduled over the past two days following 'technical glitches' at several centres.
The action was taken for 'non-compliance of protocols' and the centres were also warned of strict action in case of "sabotage".
For the remaining schedule of the CUET-UG, no exam will be held at these delisted centres.
On Thursday, the first shift of the exam was cancelled in 17 states, while the second shift was cancelled at all 489 centres. On Friday, the exam was cancelled at 50 centres.
On Saturday, NTA anticipated a similar situation and cancelled the CUET-UG for the day at 53 centres and sent messages to candidates about its postponement on Friday night. These exams will now be held between August 12 and August 14.
The Minister for Education Dharmendra Pradhan was also forced to hold a review meeting along with officials of his Ministry, the University Grants Commission (UGC), All India Council for Technical Education and NTA after large number of complaints were registered from affected students and their parents.
&ldquo;It was found that some of the centres failed to comply with the laid down protocols. Any incidence of non-compliance/sabotage/ignorance will be viewed very seriously and strict action will be taken against those centres to ensure smooth conduct of examinations in future,&rdquo; the NTA said in a press statement.
Of the 53 centres, 32 are in Delhi.
&ldquo;We are working on a comprehensive plan for exams that have been rescheduled. We will intimate the exact schedule in a few days. We have also received representations from those seeking change in dates because of clash with other competitive exams and are looking into their requests,&rdquo; Mr. Joshi said. The NTA is yet to announce when the result will be declared, but the DG said that there will be no delay. &ldquo;We have enough space available,&rdquo; he said.
The NTA is conducting CUET -UG 2022 from July 15 to August 20 in two phases at 489 centres in 259 cities in India and nine cities abroad. The exam is being held in two shifts &mdash; morning and afternoon. Approximately 14.9 lakh students have registered for the exam.
Congress leader Rahul Gandhi hit out at the government on Twitter, saying the &ldquo;new education policy of amrit kaal&rdquo; was to have &ldquo;parikshaa pe charcha&rdquo; (Prime Minister Narendra Modi&rsquo;s interaction with students) before exams, &ldquo;no question paper, no discussion&rdquo; at the time of exams and &ldquo;after the exam a future in darkness&rdquo;. He said, &ldquo;today what is happening with students of CUET is the story of every youth in the country.&rdquo;
