Shocking! Scolded over bursting of crackers, teenage boy hangs self

According to the complaint, they detained the teenager for about an hour after school hours and warned him of expulsion from the institute on Thursday, he said.

&nbsp;A 16-year-old student committed suicide allegedly after he was scolded and punished by the principal and the class teacher over the bursting of crackers on the premises of a private institute in Madhya Pradesh's Gwalior district, police said on Sunday.
A case of abetment of suicide has been registered against the principal and the class teacher, an official said.
Police officer Ramesh Shakya said some students had burst crackers in a private higher secondary school in Tekanpur area on November 3, following which the principal and class teacher scolded the class 12 student.
According to the complaint, they detained the teenager for about an hour after school hours and warned him of expulsion from the institute on Thursday, he said.
On reaching home, he allegedly hanged himself, the police officer said.
A case of abetment of suicide was registered against the principal and the class teacher. Further investigation is underway.
Nobody is arrested so far, he said.

Haryana has banned the sale and use of firecrackers in 14 districts near Delhi days before the big festival of Diwali.

While issuing the order, the state government noted that bursting crackers can adversely affect the respiratory health of vulnerable groups, besides aggravating health condition of COVID-19 positive persons in home isolation.
The 14 districts where sale and bursting of crackers include Faridabad, Gurugram, Jhajjar, Karnal, Panipat and Sonipat among others.
However, green crackers are permitted for marriages and other occasions.
Notably, the Haryana govt. took similar measures before Diwali last year as well.

Requesting people to refrain from bursting crackers, Delhi Chief Minister&nbsp;Arvind Kejriwal on Thursday&nbsp;announced that his government will organise Laxmi&nbsp;Puja&nbsp;this Diwali. Due to the Covid-19 scare,&nbsp;the puja will be live-streamed from 7.39 pm on the day of&nbsp;Diwali, he said.&nbsp;Kejriwal went on to&nbsp;urge people to view the live-stream at their house and perform the rituals instead of going out and bursting crackers and adding to the pollution. Further, the CM also said that his cabinet colleagues will also join for the puja.&nbsp;
