On Tuesday, Delhi recorded a nearly 26 per cent jump in fresh COVID-19 cases.
The health department said 632 fresh cases were reported on Wednesday and the positivity rate was 4.42 per cent.
The city had on Monday recorded 501 cases and zero death while the positivity rate stood at 7.72 per cent.

All international arrivals in India will undergo mandatory home isolation for a week from today. The central government had announced revised guidelines for international travellers to arrest the import of the Omicron variant of coronavirus which is rapidly spreading across the country.
The travellers have to undergo home quarantine for seven days and undertake an RT-PCR test on the eighth day of arrival in India. While children under 5 years of age are exempted from both the pre- and post-arrival testing, they have to undertake the test if found symptomatic for Covid-19 on arrival or during the home isolation period.
India has designated several countries and regions at-risk from where travellers are required to submit the sample for the post-arrival Covid-19 test. Such travellers are required to wait for the results of their self-paid test at the arrival airport before leaving or taking a connecting flight.
The international travellers found to be symptomatic during screening will be immediately isolated and taken to a medical facility as per health protocol.

Videos of the tournament final, played on Christmas, showed spectators, many without masks, running to the pitch as part of victory celebrations.
The MLA, however, said that except for the final, very few people had turned up in the other matches and all Covid rules were followed during them, the MLA said.
Gujarat has seen a steady rise in cases in the past few days, with the active tally now standing close to a 1,000 cases.

2. Installing an exhaust fan is important, keep them running if windows and doors are shut.&nbsp;
3. Add an exhaust fan OR turn a pedestal fan into an exhaust fan by turning it to face outdoors&nbsp;
4. Air outlets with exhaust fans must be installed in homes where there are no cross-ventilation&nbsp;
