They allegedly threatened to frame the NGO's officials if corruption complaints were not immediately withdrawn.

An FIR has been registered against Delhi Chief Secretary Naresh Kumar and his subordinate YVVJ Rajasekhar following the orders of a court in Uttarakhand&rsquo;s Almora town.
On March 2, the court admitted a complaint by an NGO, Pleasant Valley Foundation, against the officials and asked the revenue police to register a case against them and investigate the charges.
Pleasant Valley Foundation alleged that the officials sent four people to a school run by the NGO in Dadakada village on February 14. The four men vandalised the office chamber of the NGO's joint secretary and took away files, records, documents and pen drives which contained evidence of their involvement in scams.
They allegedly threatened to frame the NGO's officials if complaints of corruption filed by it against them with the Vigilance department and other forums were not immediately withdrawn, the complainant said.
They even tried to force the complainant to sign typewritten documents, which they had brought with them, he said.
When he resisted, the assailants even took away Rs 63,000 in cash kept in a drawer, the complainant said.
The case against the officials was registered by the revenue police sub-inspector of Govindpur on the orders of Almora's Chief Judicial Magistrate, Almora's District Magistrate Vinit Tomar said.
The FIR has been registered against them under sections 392 (robbery), 447 (criminal trespass), 120b (criminal conspiracy), 504 (intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace) and 506 criminal intimidation) of the IPC and the SC/ST Act.&nbsp;

The former CM will be lodged in Rajahmundry central jail.

Telugu Desam Party (TDP) chief N Chandrababu Naidu on Sunday sent to 14 days judicial custody till September 23, in connection with an alleged Skill Development Corporation scam.
Vijayawada ACB court Judge Himabindu read out the judgment on former CM Chandrababu's case.
The judge ordered the remand of Naidu for 14 days to judicial custody and suggested to take former CM to Rajahmundry Central Jail.
Earlier on Sunday morning, Naidu was produced before the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) court in Vijayawada in connection with an alleged Skill Development Corporation scam.
According to the officials, the former CM was produced before the court within 24 hours of his arrest.
On Saturday, Chandrababu Naidu was arrested by the Andhra Pradesh Criminal Investigation Department (CID) in connection to an alleged corruption case.

NCP leader and Maharashtra Cabinet Minister Chhagan Bhujbal was discharged by a special court on Thursday in the Maharashtra Sadan case being probed by the state Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB). The case relates to a 2005-2006 deal that the NCP leader allegedly gave to the firm, when he was the PWD minister.
Bhujbal&rsquo;s&nbsp;son&nbsp;Pankaj, nephew Sameer and five others were also cleared of all charges by the court.
ACB had filed a case back in 2015 alleging the minister had favoured &nbsp;firm for a project on land owned by the Regional Transport Office. According to the ACB, the contractors had &lsquo;earned 80 per cent profit&rsquo; in the construction of Maharashtra Sadan in Delhi, while as per the government circular, such contractors were entitled to &lsquo;only 20 per cent gain&rsquo;.
Bhujbal, in his plea argued that there was no evidence of any irregularities or corruption by him. He further said that the decision to hand over the project to the firm was taken by the Cabinet Infrastructure Committee in a meeting headed by the then Chief Minister Vilasrao Deshmukh. It was submitted that he had no role in granting the developer the project as it was already selected way back in 1998

The former minister was summoned by the CBI for questioning into the matter on April 14 after Param Bir Singh, in a letter to chief minister Uddhav Thackeray, accused him of directing his subordinates to collect money from bars, restaurants and hotels in Mumbai.&nbsp;
The investigation was taken up by the CBI after the Bombay High Court directed the probe on April 5 to conduct a preliminary investigation into the case. On April 8, the Supreme Court ruled that the allegations levelled against the former minister were "serious" and needed probe.
