Buckingham Palace, the royal residence of the monarch of the United Kingdom, on Monday, released official portraits from King Charles III's coronation.
The portraits included King Charles III in full regalia in the Throne Room at the palace, and Queen Camilla posing for a photo in The Green Drawing Room.
King Charles III and Queen Camilla are also pictured with members of the working royal family, including Prince William, the Prince of Wales, and Kate, the Princess of Wales.
Charles also wrote a note of thanks to those involved in the celebration and the public which was released by the palace.
"To those who joined in the celebrations - whether at home, at street parties and lunches, or by volunteering in communities - we thank you, each and every one," the note read.

They made their way to the Westminster Abbey for the coronation in the Diamond Jubilee State Coach and travelled back to the Buckingham Palace after the coronation in the Gold State Coach.&nbsp;

Diamond Jubilee State Coach was built to celebrate 60 years of Queen Elizabeth II's reign. This coach is over 5m long, weighs over 3 tonnes and needs 6 horses to pull it.
As per La Escuder&iacute;a, when it was first designed, the cost was estimated to be $185,000 but as time went by, the cost of this coach exceeded by $4 million mark.&nbsp;
On the other hand, the Gold State Coach is 260 years old it has been used at every coronation since that of William IV. It was last used by Queen Elizabeth II to travel on her Coronation Day in 1953.&nbsp;
This coach is 7 metres long, 3.6 metres tall, weighs 4 tonnes and needs 8 horses to draw it.&nbsp;
As per Brittanica notes, the production cost of this coach was 7,562 pounds sterling, which today can be around $2-2.5 million.
