Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann confirmed the tragic incident in a Twitter post.

Congress MP Santokh Singh Chaudhary passed away after suffering a heart attack during Bharat Jodo Yatra on Saturday, as per the ANI.
76-year-old politician was rushed to the hospital after he complained of uneasiness in Punjab&rsquo;s Phillaur, however, he was declared brought dead.&nbsp;
Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann confirmed the tragic incident in a Twitter post.
The Bharat Jodo Yatra resumed on Saturday in Punjab after a one day break Friday.&nbsp;

Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla on Monday revoked the suspension of Congress MPs Manickam Tagore, Jothimani, Ramya Haridas and TN Prathapan. they were suspended for bringing placards during a discussion on price rise, earlier today. The announcement was made after both Houses resumed its proceedings at 2 pm and a motion to remove suspension of MPs was moved in the lower houseby Union Minister Pralhad Joshi.
Ending the deadlock, Birla sought assurance from Opposition leaders that they won't bring placards to the House

At least 27 Opposition MPs have been suspended for alleged unruly behaviour in Parliament,  so far. The Monsoon session of Parliament currently underway will last till August 13
