The Congress on Monday announced its sixth list of five candidates for the Lok Sabha polls, fielding Prahlad Gunjal from Kota to take on outgoing Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla.
The Congress also fielded Ramchandra Choudhary from Ajmer, Sudarshan Rawat from Rajsamand, Damodar Gurjar from Bhilwara and C Robert Bruce from Tirunelveli.
Gunjal joined the Congress in Jaipur on Thursday in the presence of former chief minister Ashok Gehlot and Rajasthan Congress chief Govind Singh Dotasra.
Gunjal, a close aide of former Rajasthan chief minister Vasundhara Raje, was the MLA from Kota North twice earlier but had lost the last assembly polls. He is seen as a very vocal leader and with his arrival, the Congress is expected to benefit in Hadoti region.
With this, the party has declared a total of 190 candidates for the seven-phase Lok Sabha polls starting April 19.
The seven-phase Lok Sabha begin on April 19 and the results will be announced on June 4.&nbsp;

It is being alleged that Sunil Sharma has links to 'The Jaipur Dialogues', a known right-wing platform that often mocks the Congress party and its leaders.

Days after announcing its third candidates list for the impending Lok Saha election, the candidature that stirred the most controversy is the selection of Sunil Sharma from the Jaipur constituency.
Former IAS officer Sanjay Dixit is the chairman of this forum.
It is being alleged that Sharma has links to 'The Jaipur Dialogues', a known right-wing platform that often mocks the Congress party and its leaders.
Several screenshots being shared on social media X purportedly show one Sunil Sharma as the director.
Congress party MP Shashi Tharoor even raised this on social media, wondering how Sharma found himself on the candidates list.
"He must have undergone some sort of Pauline epiphany on the road to 24 Akbar! This is just one of several dozen tweets from his handle attacking me," he said on X.
Amidst rising speculations, Sharma issued a clarification saying that while he has attended some panel discussions hosted by Jaipur Dialogues, he has no link with its management.
He further said that he parted ways with the company long back and rumours are now being spread with vested interests.
&nbsp; "I was never associated with the management of Jaipur Dialogues YouTube channel. I am often invited by TV channels and YouTube platforms as a panelist to articulate the Congress perspective. In the same way, The Jaipur Dialogues invited me to speak on social issues and elaborate the Congress vision. There I strongly opposed religious bigotry," he said in a statement in Hindi, posted on X.

Congress on Saturday released its 4th candidate's list for the upcoming Lok Sabha election.
The fourth list covers Lok Sabha seats in Assam, Andaman, Chhattisgarh, MP, Maharashtra, Manipur, Mizoram, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, UP, Uttrakhand and West Bengal.
Digvijay Singh, Karti Chidambaram and Danish Ali are among the 46 candidates whose names are featured in the list.
Digvijaya Singh will be contesting from Rajgarh in Madhya Pradesh, Karti Chidambaram from Tamil Nadu's Sivaganga and Danish Ali to contest from UP's Amroha.&nbsp;
Notably, Congress has fielded its UP unit president Ajay Rai against Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Varanasi.
