<p>The Bengaluru concert was a musical treat for fans, featuring Sheeran&rsquo;s hit songs like Perfect and Photograph. However, the highlight of the evening was his collaboration with Shilpa Rao, the original singer of Chuttamalle. <br><br>The audience erupted with excitement as Sheeran impressively sang the Telugu lyrics alongside Rao.</p>

<h3><strong>Bengaluru Police Halt Sheeran&rsquo;s Street Performance</strong></h3>
<p>Hours before his concert, Sheeran attempted an impromptu street performance on Church Street, but it was unexpectedly cut short by Bengaluru Police, who unplugged his speakers and stopped the show within a minute.</p>
<p>A viral video captured the moment when Sheeran had just begun performing before police officials intervened. Later, the singer clarified that his team had secured prior permission for the performance.</p>
<p>Speaking on the matter, Shekar T Tekkannanavar, Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) for Central Bengaluru, explained, "A member among the event organisers came to meet me to seek permission for the Streetside performance at Church Street. I refused to give permission because Church Street gets very crowded. That is the reason he was asked to vacate the place."</p>

<p>Sheeran&rsquo;s India tour has been filled with iconic musical moments. Before Bengaluru, he performed in Hyderabad and Chennai, where he shared the stage with legendary composer AR Rahman for a special rendition of the timeless hit Urvashi.</p>

Reports suggest that overcrowding and poor management led to stampede like situation at the concert. Several people were reportedly injured as many tried to break the barriers and barge into the venue. &nbsp;</p>
<p>As per reports, over one lakh people were present at the venue and some of them rushed towards the stage after Tamannaah Bhatia&rsquo;s performance. The chaos led to show being halted mid-way as the rowdy crowd approached stage. &nbsp;</p>
<p>Stars and the security personnel at the scene tried to pacify the situation but task force had to intervene as the crowd refused to budge. While the concertgoers blamed the organisers for the mishap, the organisers have denied any negligence. Actor Ramba&rsquo;s husband Indra was the organiser of the event. &nbsp;</p>

This is the harrowing experience hundreds of people in Europe are going through as a spate of needle attacks cause rising panic and worry. The incidents have been occurring in multiple nations - from France to the United Kingdom, and from Belgium to the Netherlands.
The numbers are scary. In France, over 300 complaints have been filed with the police. The UK saw around 1,000 cases in October 2021.

18-year-old Tomas Laux had gone to a rap concert in Lille, France on May 4. When he came back home, he felt dizzy and had a headache. He also spotted a "strange" skin puncture and bruise on his arm. When he went to the doctor, he was tested for HIV and hepatitis, and the results fortunately came out negative.

Another victim was Leanne Desnos, also an 18-year-old. She went to a club in Bordeaux, France in April 2022. The next day, she had a fainting episode, felt dizzy and had hot flashes. She found an injection mark on her arm, and after seeing news of the needle attacks, went to a doctor. Her test results are awaited.
Despite hundreds of complaints, the French police have not arrested any suspect, haven't seized any needles, and the motive is also unclear. This is because many victims have complained of feeling groggy, but infection tests have come out negative. None of the victims have complained of being sexually assaulted.
A few people tested positive for the drug GHB which is used by sexual predators to make their victims unconscious. However, doctors believe that the GHB drug must've been ingested via a drink, as a needle would take a long time to drug someone.
With police failing to make headway, the French government is running awareness campaigns to make sure people at clubs and concerts stay alert.

<p>The prestigious Kharkiv Music Fest was cancelled this year due to the war.</p>

<p>Underground subways in <strong><a href="https://www.editorji.com/world-news/russia-ukraine-war-for-the-first-time-ukraine-choppers-strike-inside-russia-watch-1648828624802">Ukraine</a></strong>, which have become shelters amid Russia's unrelenting attack, turned into a concert hall on March 26.</p>
<p>In the Ukrainian city of Kharkiv, which has seen horrendous violence due to Russian shelling, musicians performed for people at a subway.&nbsp;Ukraine's national anthem, classical music, and adaptations of Ukrainian folk songs were reportedly played.</p>

<p>The prestigious Kharkiv Music Fest was cancelled this year due to the war.&nbsp;Director of the Music Fest hailed the subway concert.&nbsp;</p>
<p>Sergiy Politutchy said, "Amid the darkness surrounding us now, it's extremely important to show that there are eternal values and a future in our country, that our country is melodious, beautiful, intellectual and will overcome all these difficulties.&nbsp;We believe that the rise of national spirit and the culture filling our hearts will help us overcome the hardship of these dark times."</p>
