Include Gluten-free food&nbsp;
Children with autism are unable to easily digest gluten and dairy products. This is because gluten and casein in dairy products can damage the gut. Therefore, dairy products like milk and gluten foods like wheat, rye, barley, etc. should be avoided. &nbsp;
Include Vitamin C and Zinc in the diet&nbsp;
Foods rich in zinc and Vitamin C help in improving digestion. Vitamin C-rich foods include oranges, kiwis, grapes, tomatoes, papayas, broccoli and strawberries, whereas foods rich in zinc include eggs, pulses, etc. &nbsp;&nbsp;
Include Omega-3 fatty acids&nbsp;

A longitudinal study of 200 participants that started way back in 1998 has found that a youngster&rsquo;s relationship with their friends is a better predictor of their&nbsp;future outcomes than the relationship they share with their parents.

For the study published in&nbsp;the journal Child Development, scientists surveyed participants on their&nbsp;social relationships, the quality of their romantic relationships, depressive symptoms and work performance.&nbsp;&nbsp;
Comparing this data against answers from the same person&rsquo;s childhood, it was clear that&nbsp;good teen friendships lead to success later in life.&nbsp;&nbsp;
Predictably, the reverse was also true. People&nbsp;who&nbsp;did not have good, quality, best-friend relationships as teens had poorer work performance as 25-27-year-olds.
They were also predisposed to have&nbsp;worse-quality romantic relationships and were more likely to be depressed.
All in all, the findings should prompt parents to stop labelling children&rsquo;s focus on their friendships as trivial or silly, says the team.&nbsp;

New European research has revealed that the children of obese mothers are at a greater risk of developing non-alcoholic fatty liver disease in their 20s.

If a mother is obese or overweight, the child born from such a pregnancy has a greater risk of developing fatty liver disease in their 20s, finds a new study.&nbsp;&nbsp;
Researchers from Europe have&nbsp;found evidence&nbsp;showing how&nbsp;conditions in the womb may play a major role in the risk of developing the condition.&nbsp;Non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (or NAFLD) can be&nbsp;caused by obesity and later turn into more critical health problems like liver cancer. NAFLD&nbsp;has&nbsp;also&nbsp;been&nbsp;linked to a higher&nbsp;susceptibility&nbsp;to developing&nbsp;type 2 diabetes and heart disease.&nbsp;&nbsp;
The team will be presenting their findings at the International Liver Congress 2021 convened by the European Association for the Study of the Liver.&nbsp;The same study, which assessed&nbsp;liver scans from 2,961 England-born participants, also discovered&nbsp;an increased risk associated with obese fathers but the increase was much smaller than for overweight mums.&nbsp;

Dr Kushala Abeysekera from the study&nbsp;cautioned that their work is not about blaming mothers but rather highlights&nbsp;the impact of how an obesogenic environment can be passed down through generations.&nbsp;&nbsp;
