The Covid-19 pandemic has spelt a major blow for the travel industry. A new survey reveals that only&nbsp;19% Indians are willing to travel this festive season.

With a surge in Covid-19 cases, the upcoming festive season of October and November may not be the same for Indians anymore.
According to a survey of 25,000 people in 239 districts, conducted by social media platform LocalCircles, majority of Indians or 69% may avoid travelling in the festive months and would prefer to stay home.&nbsp;
Only 19% said they would be willing to travel between October to December, out of which majority would book closer to the date depending on the situation.
October-November usually sees&nbsp;people making elaborate travel plans on the occasion&nbsp;of&nbsp;Diwali, Dussehra, Durga Puja and Chhath festivals.
