According to a researcher from Deakin University, burning scented candles can pollute homes with toxic chemicals that might be harmful to the lungs.&nbsp;
Dr. Svetlana Stevanovic explained that the combustion process releases particulates that go directly to our lungs. People may experience eye, nose and throat irritation or headaches and nausea. However, these health problems may depend on the level and length of exposure.&nbsp;
Scented candles become more toxic indoors. Hence, the key to burning candles and blowing them out is to use them in a well-ventilated area, the expert concluded.&nbsp;

A recent study has found that people who release too many chemicals from their skin are more prone to be bitten by mosquitos.

Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz! We all witness the terror of mosquitos, but you might have noticed that some people are bitten by mosquitos more as compared to others. We commonly call them &lsquo;sweet blooded&rsquo; but according to research these people are known as &ldquo;mosquito magnets&rdquo;.
It has been found that people who attract mosquitos the most actually release some amount of chemical from their skin and due to the smell, mosquitos tend to get more attracted to them.
A neurobiologist at Rockefeller University in New York, says that people who release too much of the chemical from their skin, are more prone to be bitten by mosquitos. So, if you think you are a mosquito magnet, take all precautions before falling prey to mosquitos.

Japan expressed grave concern about Russia's possible use of nuclear weapons against Ukraine as the top government spokesman on Monday announced an additional ban on exports of chemical weapons-related goods to Russia.
“As the world's only country to have suffered nuclear attacks, we strongly demand that the threat or use of nuclear weapons by Russia should never happen,” Chief Cabinet Secretary Hirokazu Matsuno told a regular news conference.
Matsuno was responding to a question about US national security adviser Jake Sullivan's comments Sunday on CBS news that the United States will act “decisively” in case of a Russian nuclear attack on Ukraine.
Asked if Japan approves of the possible use of nuclear weapons by the United States against Russia, Matsuno refused to comment on the grounds that it was a hypothetical question.
Japan's government on Monday banned the export of materials that may be used for chemical weapons to 21 Russian organisations, including science laboratories. The measure was approved by the Cabinet following a decision by Group of Seven foreign ministers last week.
