Mumbai 'Dabbawalas', known for delivering fresh home-cooked food to offices, have received an invitation for the coronation ceremony of King Charles III and they have started preparing for it.
They will reportedly present the monarch with a traditional Puneri turban and a shawl. The spokesperson for the dabbawalas has also informed that they were invited to the event organised by the British High Commissioner at Mumbai's Hotel Taj Mahal Palace on May 2. &nbsp;
<h3>Relationaship goes a long way</h3>
For the unversed, the relationship between the King and the dabbawalas goes a long way, as King Charles had met up with them during his India visit in 2003, at Mumbai's Churchgate station. In 2005, two dabbawalas were even invited for the royal wedding of Charles and Camilla Parker-Bowles.&nbsp;

Charles got married to Diana Frances Spencer in 1981. They had two sons - William and Harry - before getting divorced in 1996. Diana died in a car accident a year later. In 2005, Charles married his long-time partner Camilla Parker Bowles.
In April 2021, Charles' father Prince Philip had died. The new King, now aged 73, was next in line to the throne for 70 years, the longest wait in the history of British monarchy.
