Pakistani actor Resham on Wednesday apologised after she was slammed for throwing garbage into a river. Ironically, she was at the spot to feed feed before heading to a charity event.
Taking to Instagram, Resham said she will never repeat such a mistake again emphasizing that it was not intentional.
In the incriminating video that drew her backlash, Resham was caught throwing plastic into the river after pouring fodder in the form of bread and meat for fish.
Interestingly, the video was brought to notice by the actor herself, who had first shared it on her Facebook page.
Soon after the video went viral, the actor received netizens' ire for her 'insensitivity' towards environment. 
The video was recorded when the actor was reportedly on her way to a flood affected region in Pakistan, prior to which she stopped by a bridge on the Jindi river to feed the fish.
