Amid the euphoria over Chandrayaan 3's Moon landing, the Congress party accused the BJP government in Haryana for an allegedly insensitive remark.
Congress leaders shared a video online claiming that it showed the Haryana Chief Minister rebuking a woman for seeking a factory in her neighbouring village.
Congress claimed that CM Manohar Lal Khattar said to the woman that the next time India sends a spacecraft to the moon, she will be made to sit in it.
The Opposition party said that Khattar was displaying an anti-women mindset.
In an unverified video which went viral, the woman is heard asking for setting up a factory in her neighbouring village of Bhatol Jattan so that it can generate employment opportunities for women.
In response to this, in the video clip, Khattar is heard purportedly saying, "Agli baar chaand ke upar ek aur jo jayega na Chandrayaan-4, usme bhejenge. Baith jao. (next time you will be sent to the moon on Chandrayaan-4. Sit down)".
The venue of the public gathering is not clear in the video clip. Khattar is currently in Hisar district as part of his Jan Samvad programme.
The short video clip was shared online by some Congress and AAP leaders from the state.
Senior Congress leaders Randeep Singh Surjewala and Deepender Singh Hooda and Aam Aadmi Party leader Anurag Dhanda slammed Khattar.

The Laser-Induced Breakdown Spectroscope instrument onboard 'Pragyan' rover of Chandrayaan-3 has 'unambiguously confirmed the presence of sulphur in the lunar surface near south pole, through first-ever in-situ measurements,' ISRO said on Tuesday.
It also said the instrument also detected aluminium, calcium, iron, chromium, titanium, manganese, silicon and oxygen, as expected.
"In-situ scientific experiments continue...Laser-Induced Breakdown Spectroscope (LIBS) instrument onboard the Rover unambiguously confirms the presence of Sulphur (S) in the lunar surface near the south pole, through first-ever in-situ measurements," ISRO said in a social media post.
&ldquo;Al, Ca, Fe, Cr, Ti, Mn, Si, and O are also detected, as expected. Search for Hydrogen (H) is underway," the National Space Agency headquarters said.&nbsp;

Surat police in Gujarat are probing a city resident's claims that he was a scientist working with the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) and designed the lander module of the Chandrayaan-3 moon mission, an official said on Friday.
City police commissioner Ajay Tomar asked the crime branch to conduct an investigation to verify the claims which were prima facie false, Deputy Commissioner of Police (special branch) Hetal Patel said.
Mitul Trivedi, who has been giving interviews to the local media since the Vikram lander successfully landed on the moon on Thursday, failed to produce any documentary proof to support his claim of being an ISRO scientist, said DCP Patel.
Trivedi, who claims to hold a Ph. D., on Thursday told several media outlets and news channels that he had designed the lander of Chandrayaan-3.
As he was part of the Chandrayaan-2 project, ISRO invited him to work on the latest moon mission too, and he made several changes in the original design of the lander which was the reason it landed successfully, he claimed.
But some local newspapers published reports questioning the veracity of his claims on Friday.
He was asked to visit her office on Friday with documents to prove his claims, she said.
"But he did not produce any document or proof to establish that he is associated with ISRO. Our probe found that he is a B.Com. degree holder. When asked about his claims of being a scientist, he said he was a freelancer who had worked on Chandrayaan-3's design at ISRO's Bengaluru office. He even claims to be working with NASA," said the official.
"As per our preliminary probe, he is not an ISRO scientist. Further probe will be carried out by the crime branch and a First Information Report will be registered against him if he is found to be lying," she added.&nbsp;

After the successful deployment of Chandrayaan-3's lander and rover on the moon, ISRO is hoping that their mission life will not be limited to one lunar day or 14 earth days and that they will come back to life when the sun again rises on the Moon, to carry on with the experiments and studies there.
Following the deployment of the lander and rover, the systems on them are now ready to perform experiments one after the other so as to complete them within 14 earth days, before the pitch darkness and extreme cold weather engulfs the Moon.
The lander (Vikram) touched down near the south pole of the Moon at 6.04 pm on Wednesday, successfully completing one of the Chandrayaan-3 mission's stated objectives of soft landing on the lunar surface.
Earlier today ISRO announced that the rover (Pragyan) rolled down from the lander, stating, "India took a walk on the Moon." ISRO had earlier said the 26 kg six-wheeled rover was scheduled to descend from the lander's belly onto the Moon's surface, using one of its side panels which acts as a ramp.
The lander and rover -- with a total mass of 1,752 kg -- are designed to operate for one lunar daylight period (about 14 Earth days) to study the surroundings there.
However, ISRO officials do not rule out the possibility of them coming back to life for another lunar day.
Explaining what would happen after the lander's soft landing and deployment of the rover, ISRO Chairman S Somnath had earlier said, "After this, all the experiments (by payloads on lander and rover) will take place one after the other -- all of which have to be completed in just one day on the Moon, which is 14 (Earth) days." Noting that as long as the sun shines, all the systems will have its power, he said, "The moment the sun sets, everything will be in pitch darkness, temperature will go as down as low as minus 180 degree celsius. So it is not possible for the systems to survive, and if it survives further, then we should be happy that once again it has come to life and we will be able to work on the system once again." He said, "We hope it would happen that way." The rover will carry out in-situ chemical analysis of the lunar surface during the course of its mobility.
It would study the surface of the Moon through its payloads APXS (Alpha Particle X-Ray Spectrometer) to determine the elemental composition of lunar soil and rocks around the lunar landing site.
Another payload on the rover, the Laser-Induced Breakdown Spectroscope (LIBS), will derive the chemical composition and infer mineralogical composition to further enhance understanding of the lunar surface.
The Moon's south pole region is also being explored because there is a possibility of water being present in permanently shadowed areas around it, according to ISRO officials.
The rover will send the data to the lander which will then send it to Earth.

However, Chandrayaan-3 is not a manned mission, which means the spacecraft did not have any humans aboard.&nbsp;

ISRO on Wednesday said it is all set to initiate the Automatic Landing Sequence (ALS) for its ambitious third Moon mission Chandrayaan-3's Lander Module (LM) to touch down on the lunar surface this evening.
The LM comprising the lander (Vikram) and the rover (Pragyan) is scheduled to make a touchdown near the south polar region of the Moon at 6:04 pm on Wednesday, a feat not achieved by any country so far.
"All set to initiate the Automatic Landing Sequence (ALS). Awaiting the arrival of Lander Module (LM) at the designated point, around 17:44 Hrs. IST (5:44 pm)," ISRO said in a post on X.
"Upon receiving the ALS command, the LM activates the throttleable engines for powered descent. The mission operations team will keep confirming the sequential execution of commands," it said.
After checking all the parameters and deciding to land, ISRO will upload the required commands from its Indian Deep Space Network (IDSN) facility at Byalalu near here, to the LM, a few hours before the scheduled touchdown time.
According to ISRO officials, for landing, at around 30 km altitude, the lander enters the powered braking phase and begins to use its four thruster engines by "retro firing" them to reach the surface of the moon, by gradually reducing the speed. This is to ensure the lander doesn't crash, as the Moon's gravity will also be in play.
On reaching an altitude of around 6.8 km, only two engines will be used, while the two others will be shut down, aimed at giving the reverse thrust to the lander as it descends further, they said.
Then, on reaching an altitude of about 150-100 metres, the lander, using its sensors and cameras, would scan the surface to check whether there are any obstacles and then start descending to make a soft-landing.
ISRO Chairman S Somanath had recently said the most critical part of the landing will be the process of reducing the velocity of the lander from 30 km height to the final landing, and the ability to reorient the spacecraft from horizontal to vertical direction. "This is the trick we have to play here," he said.
After the soft-landing, the rover will descend from the lander's belly, onto the Moon's surface, using one of its side panels, which will act as a ramp. On landing the lander may have to face the challenge of lunar dust due to firing of onboard engines close to the moon's surface.
The lander and rover will have a mission life of one lunar day (about 14 earth days) to study the surroundings there. However, ISRO officials do not rule out the possibility of them coming to life for another lunar day.&nbsp;

It is not only Tamil Nadu&rsquo;s sons of the soil &ndash; former President Dr APJ Abdul Kalam, Chandrayaan-2 Mission Director Mayilsamy Annadurai, and Chandrayaan-3 Project Director Veeramuthuvel P &ndash; who have contributed to ISRO missions, but literally the state&rsquo;s soil itself.
Since 2012, Namakkal, which is about 400 km from the state capital Chennai, has supplied soil to ISRO for testing for the Chandrayaan Mission capability, as the earth in that district is similar to that of the lunar surface.
This has enabled ISRO to test and refine the ability of the lander module to soft land on the surface of the Moon, given that the properties of the Namakkal soil are similar.
So, if Chandrayaan-3&rsquo;s lander module achieves its objective of successfully soft landing on the Moon, it would give Tamil Nadu an extra reason to cheer.
This is the third time that Tamil Nadu has supplied the necessary soil to the Bengaluru headquartered space agency for performing the tests for its ambitious Moon missions.
According to the Director of the Geology Department of Periyar University, Professor S Anbazhagan, the soil was available in abundance in the Namakkal area, enabling them to rise to the occasion when the need arose for ISRO.
"We have been engaged in conducting research in geology. Tamil Nadu has the kind of soil that is present on the lunar surface, particularly that which is very similar to the soil present at the southern pole (of the Moon). The lunar surface has 'Anorthosite' (a type of intrusive igneous rock) type of soil," he said.
"We have been sending the soil to ISRO soon after it announced the Moon exploration programme,&rdquo; he told PTI in a brief interaction.
The Chandrayaan-3 Mission aims at soft-landing of the spacecraft on the unexplored southern pole of the Moon. It would make India the fourth country to achieve this remarkable feat after the United States, erstwhile Soviet Union and China.
Elaborating on how it all began, Anbazhagan said that following the success of the Chandrayaan-1 mission in 2008, scientists were gearing up to perform the Chandrayaan-2 mission, which aimed at demonstrating the capability to soft-land on the surface of the Moon. In comparison, Chandrayaan-1&rsquo;s mission was to orbit the Moon and not land on its surface.
In the Chandrayaan-2 mission, it was planned that a rover would come out of the lander module and crawl on the surface of the Moon, undertaking tests in the process, he said.
"About 50 tonnes of soil were sent to ISRO, which was similar to the kind of soil present on the lunar surface," Anbazhagan, who specialises in remote sensing and groundwater exploration at the university in Salem, said.
After undertaking various tests, scientists at ISRO confirmed that the soil available in the Namakkal area matched that of the lunar surface, he added.
To a query, Anbhazhagan said the soil was available in abundance in places like Sithampoondi and Kunnamalai villages surrounding Namakkal, and also in some areas in Andhra Pradesh and northern parts of the country.
"We have been sending the soil to ISRO as per their requirement. They (ISRO scientists) have been performing tests on the soil supplied by us,&rdquo; he said, adding, &ldquo;Even if a Chandrayaan-4 mission comes up, we are geared to supply the soil for it.&rdquo;&nbsp;

On Sept 7, 2019, Chandrayaan 2's 'Vikram' lander descended to around 2 km above the Moon's surface.
Subsequently, the lander lost contact with ISRO, suggesting that it had crashed.
ISRO later said that engines meant to reduce the lander's velocity actually created too much thrust, and small errors accumulated over time.
The lander couldn't turn fast enough to compensate for these errors. To add to the problems, the landing site chosen by ISRO was too small, and the lander kept accelerating to reach the site even though it was close to the Moon's surface.
Chandrayaan-3 is a follow-on mission to Chandrayaan-2 and its objectives are to demonstrate safe and soft-landing on the lunar surface, roving on the Moon, and to conduct in-situ scientific experiments.
Chandrayaan-2 had failed in its lunar phase when its lander 'Vikram' crashed into the surface of the Moon following anomalies in the braking system in the lander while attempting a touchdown on September 7, 2019. Chandrayaan's maiden mission was in 2008.
The Rs 600 crore Chandrayaan-3 mission was launched on July 14 onboard Launch Vehicle Mark-III (LVM-3) rocket, for a 41-day voyage to reach near the lunar south pole.

ISRO has also increased the landing area.
Chandrayaan 3 is also carrying more fuel, and the lander has more solar panels to generate power no matter how it lands.
This time, there is no orbiter module, and this simplifies the mission.

One of the biggest hurdles before India's third Moon mission is the area of the Moon where ISRO has planned a landing.

Indian Space Research Organisation has released pictures of the Moon's far side captured by the lander module of Chandrayaan-3.&nbsp;
The images were captured by the Lander Hazard Detection and Avoidance Camera which assists in locating an area without boulders or deep trenches for a safe landing.&nbsp;
ISRO on Sunday said it has successfully reduced the orbit of Chandrayaan-3 mission's lander module, and it is now expected to touch down on the surface of the Moon at 1804 hours on August 23.
The space agency said the lander module would undergo internal checks ahead of the planned soft landing.
The lander module (LM), comprising the lander &lsquo;Vikram' and rover &lsquo;Pragyan&rsquo;, is expected to touch down on the lunar surface on Wednesday, August 23 at 18.04 hours, ISRO said. Earlier ISRO had said that the touchdown would take place at 5.47 pm on August 23. Now, it has been moved by 17 minutes.
The second and final deboosting (slowing down) operation has successfully reduced the LM orbit to 25 km x 134 km. The module would undergo internal checks and await sunrise at the designated landing site. The powered descent is expected to commence on August 23, 2023, around 1745 hrs IST,&rdquo; ISRO said in a post on 'X' (formerly Twitter) in the early hours of Sunday.
According to ISRO, India's pursuit of space exploration will reach a remarkable milestone with the Chandrayaan-3 mission poised to achieve a soft landing on the surface of the Moon.
This achievement marks a significant step forward for Indian Science, Engineering, Technology, and Industry, symbolising our nation's progress in space exploration, it said.
This eagerly anticipated event will be broadcast live on August 23, starting from 17:27 Hrs IST on multiple platforms, including the ISRO Website, its YouTube channel, ISRO's Facebook page, and DD National TV channel.
"The soft landing of Chandrayaan-3 is a monumental moment that not only fuels curiosity but also sparks a passion for exploration within the minds of our youth," ISRO said.

ISRO on Friday said that Chandrayaan-3's Lander Module has successfully undergone a deboosting (slowing down) operation taking it closer to the Moon and that its health is normal.
The Lander Module comprising the lander (Vikram) and the rover (Pragyan), will undergo the second deboosting operation on August 20, to be lowered to an orbit that takes it much closer to the Moon's surface.
The soft landing on the Lunar south pole is scheduled on August 23.
" The Lander Module (LM) health is normal. LM successfully underwent a deboosting operation that reduced its orbit to 113 km x 157 km. The second deboosting operation is scheduled for August 20, 2023, around 0200 Hrs. IST," ISRO said in a post on X (formerly Twitter).
The Lander Module of Chandrayaan-3 had successfully separated from the Propulsion Module on Thursday, 35 days after the satellite was launched on July 14.&nbsp;
