Tamil film &lsquo;Chandramukhi 2&rsquo;, starring Raghava Lawrence and Kangana Ranaut, is all set to hit the theatres on September 28. Ahead of its release, Raghava met superstar Rajinikanth and sought his blessings for the forthcoming film.
The actor also took the opportunity to congratulate the star on the success of his recent film, &lsquo;Jailer&rsquo;, which received an overwhelming response from the audience.
Expressing his joy on social media, Raghava wrote, &lsquo;Today I met my Thalaivar and Guru Rajinikanth to wish him for Jailer&rsquo;s blockbuster success and got blessings for Chandramukhi 2 release on September 28th. I&rsquo;m so happy. Thalaivar is always great. Guruve Saranam.&rsquo;
At a recent press meet for &lsquo;Chandramukhi 2&rsquo;, Raghava Lawrence expressed his gratitude towards three prominent superstars in his life, Rajinikanth, Chiranjeevi and Nagarjuna.&nbsp;
Before starting the shooting for P Vasu&rsquo;s film, Raghava mentioned that Rajinikanth offered him numerous valuable suggestions.
&lsquo;Chandramukhi 2&rsquo; marks Kangana&rsquo;s second pan-India project, following her portrayal of J Jayalalithaa in the 2021 biopic &lsquo;Thalaivii&rsquo;.
The movie, directed by P Vasu, will be released in multiple languages, including Tamil, Hindi, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada.&nbsp;
The film also features Vadivelu, Raadhika and Mahima Nambiar.

Actor Kangana Ranaut took to social media on June 29 to share an update on her next film &lsquo;Chandramukhi 2&rsquo;. Sharing a first-look poster of Raghava Lawrence, Kangana announced that the comedy-horror will release in September on Ganesh Chaturthi.
She wrote, &lsquo;This September she is coming back &hellip; Are you ready #chandramukhi2 @lyca_productions.&rsquo;
Ganesh Chaturthi will be observed on September 19. &lsquo;Chandramukhi 2&rsquo;, directed by P Vasu, is the sequel to the blockbuster hit Tamil horror comedy film &lsquo;Chandramukhi&rsquo; which starred Rajinikanth and Jyothika in the lead roles.
Kangana Ranaut will portray the role of a dancer in the king's court, who was known for her beauty and dance skills, in the film. She will star opposite Raghava Lawrence. Produced by Lyca Productions and Subaskaran the film will release in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Malayalam, and Kannada.
Besides &lsquo;Chandramukhi 2&rsquo;, Kangana Ranaut is gearing up for the release of her period drama &lsquo;Emergency&rsquo;. The movie revolves around the life of former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi. Kangana stars in the titular role of the late politician. The movie will be out in theatres on November 24, 2023.
Kangana Ranaut also has &lsquo;Tejas&rsquo; in the pipeline.
