<p>BTS rapper Suga, who is the only band member not serving as an active-duty soldier, will be paying heavily for an e-scooter ride. Following his DUI scandal on August 6, the rapper has been heavily criticised and faced a police investigation. &nbsp;</p>
<p>While the reports already suggested that Suga will end up with only a fine, the exact amount has been revealed. &nbsp;According to Korean media reports, Suga has been fined 15 million KRW which is approximately Rs 9,30,000 for riding an e-scooter under influence. The Seoul court has reportedly issued a summary order, which is done generally in less severe cases. &nbsp;</p>
<p>Despite his recent ordeal, Suga made history as his loyal fanbase stood by him. Suga's older tracks witnessed a comeback to charts and new sales record amid the DUI scandal. &nbsp;The 31-year-old BTS member is currently serving as a social service agent in the military. &nbsp;</p>

<p>BTS rapper Suga is facing a tough phase with the ongoing DUI investigation and criticism on social media. However, the K-pop star is also receiving support from his peers in the music industry and friends. &nbsp;</p>
<p>PSY, the South Korean star singer and rapper best known for &lsquo;Gangnam Style&rsquo;, gave a shoutout to Suga during his &lsquo;Summer Swag&rsquo; concert. On August 25, PSY performed at the Suwon World Cup Stadium. When he was about to perform &lsquo;That That&rsquo;, PSY addressed his fans and mentioned Suga. He thanked Suga for making this song and working with him. &nbsp;</p>
<p>Given the heavy media scrutiny and criticism that has often been a big debate in South Korean entertainment industry, showing solidarity with Suga during this time is a big support. Besides PSY, &lsquo;Pachinko&rsquo; author Lee Min-jin, actor Park Sohee, EL CAPITXN and few more public figures have expressed support for Suga amid his DUI scandal. &nbsp;</p>
<p>Apart from the celebrities, BTS fans have also expressed support for Suga and lashed out at Korean media for blowing the issue out of proportion. BTS fans aka ARMYs put up banners with &lsquo;Future&rsquo;s gonna be okay&rsquo; written on them in front of HYBE agency. The lyrics are from Suga&rsquo;s popular song &lsquo;D-day&rsquo;. &nbsp;</p>
<p>Suga appeared at the police station on August 23 and posted a handwritten apology on August 25. In his letter, he apologised for disappointing the fans. Meanwhile, police have concluded the investigation in the drunk driving case and will be forwarding it to the prosecution. &nbsp;</p>

<p>For the first time since his &lsquo;driving under influence&rsquo; controversy, Suga has appeared before police for questioning and spoken to media. &nbsp;</p>
<p>Responding to the summons, Suga came to the police station at around 7:45 pm KST after completing his public service duties. Suga did not avoid the media upon reaching the police station. He stopped briefly, bowed his head down and talked about the incident. &nbsp;</p>
<p>BTS rapper apologised for the entire controversy and disappointing his fans. He said that he is reflecting on the incident. He also assured to undergo the investigations sincerely and apologised once more before heading inside the station for investigation.</p>
<p>Suga, member of global band BTS, is under investigation for riding an electric scooter while being intoxicated. &nbsp;</p>
