Writing letters in the modern age inundated with technological gizmos seems a thing of the past.
However, a woman from Kerala has set a world record by writing the longest letter to her brother on the occasion of World Brother's Day.
Krishnapriya, who hails from Kerala's Idduki district, told Times Now she was unable to be with her younger brother Krishnaprasad and even missed his calls and texts due to her hectic work schedule.
Krishnapriya then decided to compensate for her mistake by sending a handwritten letter to her brother. 
She initially started writing on an A4 sheet but soon realised that she would be needing much more than that.
After completion, the total length of the letter stood at 434-metre and took 12 hours.
Krishnapriya said that writing the letter was not pre-planned and was a co-incidence.
Krishnapriya has now already sent a notification of her feat to the Guinness World Record and applied under the record for the longest letter ever written.

Bhai&nbsp;Dooj&nbsp;2021: Also&nbsp;known as Yama&nbsp;Dwitiya,&nbsp;Bhai Phota&nbsp;and&nbsp;Bhau Beej,&nbsp;Bhai&nbsp;Dooj&nbsp;is an auspicious&nbsp;festival celebrated all over India. The&nbsp;festival is symbolic of&nbsp;brother-sister love and affection.&nbsp;
The word Bhai&nbsp;Dooj&nbsp;is derived from the words, 'Bhai' which means brother, while 'Dooj' refers to the second day after the new moon. This special day falls on the second day of the Shukla Paksha in the Hindu month of Kartik. This year it shall&nbsp;be celebrated on 6th November.&nbsp;
On this day sisters pray to God for their beloved brother's well-being and prosperity.&nbsp;The sisters mark the occasion by applying a tilak&nbsp;on their brothers' foreheads, followed by an aarti&nbsp;with a decorated thali comprising sweets and coconut.
