The Delhi Police, upon completing its investigation, filed a chargesheet for offences under sections 354 (Assault or criminal force to woman with intent to outrage her modesty), 354A (making sexually coloured remarks), 354D (stalking) of IPC against accused Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh and for offences under sections 109/ 354/354A/506 IPC against accused former WFI assistant secretary Vinod Tomar. More than 180 people were questioned in connection with the allegations
While the police have filed sexual harassment, stalking charges in the chargesheet, it has done so based on the statements of protesting wrestlers and their acquaintances.
According to multiple reports, the two complainants who were asked to submit audio, video and photo evidence were unable to provide substantial proof.
These reports claim that only a handful of photographs were submitted as evidence even though the Delhi Police went through hundreds of them.
The cops also found no video evidence, according to the report.The hearing in the matter will next take place on June 22.

Stating that no corroborative evidence was found against Singh in the POCSO case, the police said the minor complainant had vested interests against the BJP MP. According to the police's statement, they submitted the cancellation report to the court based on the statements of the girl and her father. The Patiala House Court will hear the matter on July 4 to decide whether the case will be closed or not.

Officials added that cops are collecting evidence in connection with the case filed against the former WFI chief, and will submit a report in court accordingly.

Country's top wrestlers resumed their agitation against the wrestling federation's chief on Sunday, three months after they ended their sit-in protest following the formation of an oversight committee to probe into the serious allegations against Singh.
The Sports Ministry has not yet made public the findings of six-member oversight panel that submitted its report on April 5.
For the past five days, top wrestlers, including Vinesh Phogat, Bajrang Punia, and Sakshi Mallik, resumed their protest at Delhi's Jantar Mantar, demanding action against Bhushan, who is a Member of Parliament from the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).

The Sports Ministry has extended the deadline given to the Oversight committee that's probing sexual assault allegations against Wrestling Federation of India President Brijbhushan Sharan Singh.
The MC Mary Kom-led panel that was earlier asked to submit its report in 4 weeks, has been given another 2-week extension and will now submit its report by March 9.&nbsp;
The committee responsible for the day-to-day functioning of WFI was formed after a sit-in protest by top Indian wrestlers, including Vinesh Phogat, Bajrang Punia &amp; Sakshi Malik, who were demanding the removal of Singh as the federation's president.
Since the formation of the committee, the top Indian wrestlers have not competed at the international meets, missing the Ranking Series events in Zagreb and Alexandria.
Meanwhile, wrestling's governing body UWW has reportedly taken away the hosting rights of the Asian Championship from India, citing a complaint from the top wrestlers.&nbsp;

8 Indian wrestlers, including Vinesh Phogat &amp; Bajrang Punia, have pulled out of the UWW Ranking Series event in Croatia.

Eight Indian wrestlers, including Vinesh Phogat &amp; Bajrang Punia, have pulled out of the upcoming Zagreb Open, stating they are not ready for the competition.
Apart from Vinesh &amp; Bajrang, Tokyo Olympics silver medallist Ravi Dahiya, world championship medallist Deepak Punia &amp; talented youngster Anshu Malik, have all decided not to participate.
The wrestlers during their 3-day protest had said that they will not compete in any tournament till the Wrestling Federation of India (WFI) is disbanded and its chief Brijbhushan Sharan Singh sacked.
They communicated their decision about non-participation on the day of the team announcement.
A Sports Authority of India official told PTI that the reason they have given is they are not feeling 100 percent. The source further said that their decision to pull out is not going to be appreciated.

The panel that was formed to investigate sexual harassment charges against WFI President Brijbhushan Sharan Singh, will also manage the day-to-day activities of the federation.&nbsp;
India's legendary boxer MC Mary Kom was chosen as the head of the 5-member committee, but it seems the wrestlers aren't too happy with the government's choices.
The protesting wrestlers all posted identical tweets, stating that despite the assurances from the government, they were never consulted before the oversight committee was picked. They also tagged Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah &amp; Sports Minister Anurag Thakur in their tweet.
Apart from MC Mary Kom, the committee includes former Olympic medallist Yogeshwar Dutt, former Badminton player and Mission Olympic Cell member Trupti Murgunde, ex-TOPS CEO Rajagopalan and former SAI Executive Director Radhica Sreeman.
