The Delhi Police have cited photo and video proofs in their chargesheet that they filed in the sexual harassment FIR by the wrestlers against the former Wrestling Federation of India chief Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh.&nbsp; As per The Indian Express, Police were able to find pieces of evidence in 4 of the 6 complaints by the wrestlers.&nbsp; Police told Indian Express that some of the photographic evidence was given to them by the complainants, while some have been retrieved from other sources.&nbsp; Police also informed that the images are from different tournaments and events. The wrestlers have cited incidents from 2012 to 2018, Police said that they were only able to gather call detail records in&nbsp; 4 cases.&nbsp; As per The Indian Express, 22 witnesses have verified the wrestlers' claims and out of them, 12-15 witnesses are reportedly wrestlers.&nbsp; The 1500-page long chargesheet includes these proofs along with call detail records, testimonies of the wrestlers and the statements of 70-80 witnesses.&nbsp;

The sexual harassment allegation case against the former Wrestling Federation of India chief Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh appears to have weakened after the minor wrestler's father whose sexual assault complaint was lodged under POCSO backtracked.

One of the sexual harassment allegation case against the former Wrestling Federation of India chief, Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh, appears to have weakened after the father of a minor wrestler, whose sexual assault complaint was lodged under POCSO, backtracked.&nbsp;
The minor's father accepted that they deliberately filed a 'false' police complaint of sexual harassment against WFI chief, Singh.
His admission changes the dynamics of the cases against the BJP MP.
As per The Indian Express, the minor's father has re-recorded his statement at Delhi's Patiala House Court. The father changed his statement under section 164 of CrPC (Code of Criminal Procedure) before a magistrate and as per the law, the changed statement holds evidentiary value in court.
This is being regarded as an escape hole for the 66-year-old, Singh, as the POCSO charges may get dropped now. &nbsp;
However, CNN News-18, which spoke to Supreme Court lawyer Ashwini Dubey on the issue, reported that there is no provision to withdraw a case under POCSO as these are non-compoundable offences, which means a compromise in such cases is not possible and criminal culpability continues. &nbsp;
Dubey said that while the FIR cannot be quashed, it is up to the court to analyse statements and then the accused may be discharged if grounds and evidence are found frivolous.&nbsp;
But another lawyer, Ashish Dixit told CNN News 18 that a witness retracting or changing her statement might go against her and the credibility of such person becomes intriguing.
He also said that police may choose to drop the provisions of POCSO from the chargesheet and if they discover substantive evidence, they would be within their rights to file a chargesheet containing POCSO offence.

Four witnesses have corroborated the allegations made by at least three wrestlers against BJP MP and former Wrestling Federation of India chief Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh, reported The Indian Express.&nbsp; As per the report, one Olympian, a Commonwealth Games medallist, an international referee and a state-level coach who have verified the allegations are among the 125 potential witnesses whose statements have been recorded by the Delhi Police.&nbsp;&nbsp; The report stated that while the coach told the Police that one of the complainants had informed him about the incident 6 hours after it took place, 2 other wrestlers also backed the other 2 complainants who levelled the allegations of sexual harassment against the BJP MP.&nbsp; The referee also confirmed the complainants' claim, said the Indian Express report. He told the Police that he had heard about the plight of the women wrestlers when he would travel for tournaments at home and abroad.&nbsp; Delhi Police filed 2 FIRs after the intervention of the Supreme Court. While the first FIR mentions the allegations of 6 adult Olympians, the 2nd FIR has been filed against the Kaiserganj MP by the father of a minor.&nbsp;

The proposed rally on June 5 by BJP MP and Ex-WFI chief Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh has been postponed.

In a blow for former WFI chief Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh, his proposed rally next week has been postponed.
On Thursday, Brij Bhushan announced that he will address a rally in UP&rsquo;s Ayodhya as a show of strength. However, now the public meeting won&rsquo;t take place on June 5.&nbsp;
However, the Ayodhya district denied permission to the BJP MP, citing other programmes that have been scheduled for World Environment Day on June 5.

The wrestlers have accused Singh, 66, of sexual harassment and have filed 2 FIRs against him with Delhi Police.
Earlier Singh had planned the rally with 'the blessings of the Sadhus on June 5th', stating that the POCSO act under which he has been booked in one of the FIRs needs to be changed.
Reports in the media suggest that the decision to postpone the rally was also influenced by the BJP high command which has asked Brijbhushan to stay away from making public remarks about the wrestlers' case.

The FIR also mentions that she had told the accused that she was not interested in any form of physical relationship and that he should stop stalking her.

Ex-WFI chief Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh has been charged under section 10 of the POCSO act in the 2nd FIR which is based on the complaint of a minor wrestler's father.&nbsp; As per the Indian Express, the father in the FIR alleged, 'holding her tightly, pretending to get a picture clicked, the accused squeezed her towards himself, pressed hard on her shoulder and then deliberately brushing his hands against her breasts' The FIR also mentions that the minor had told the accused that she was not interested in any form of physical relationship and that he should stop stalking her.&nbsp; As per the FIR, Brij Bhushan has been booked for Aggravated Sexual Assault which falls under section 10 of the POCSO act cognisable and non-bailable, which means the police have the right to make an arrest and the accused (Brij Bhushan) will only get the bail after a special court grants him.&nbsp;

FIRs include 2 instances demanding sexual favours in lieu of professional help, revealed an Indian Express report.&nbsp;

6 adult wrestlers and a minor wrestler have mentioned at least 15 incidents of sexual harassment in the 2 FIRs that they have filed with the Delhi Police against the ex-WFI chief Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh.&nbsp; The FIR that was filed on 28th April includes at least 10 episodes of inappropriate touching, and molestation that include running of hands on the breasts, touching the navel, and intimidation including stalking. They also include 2 instances of demanding sexual favours in lieu of professional help, revealed an Indian Express report.&nbsp; As per the report, Brij Bhushan has been slapped with Section 354 (assault or criminal force to woman with intent to outrage her modesty), 354a (sexual harassment), 354D (stalking) and 34 (common intention) in both the FIRs.&nbsp; While the first FIR registers the allegations of the 6 adult wrestlers and also mentions WFI secretary Vinod Tomar's name, the second that has been filed by a minor invokes section 10 of the POCSO act. The incidents allegedly mentioned in the FIR have taken place in India and overseas from 2012 to 2020.&nbsp;
