The England team will stick to to it's aggresive 'bazball' approach as they take on India in the 4th Test, which may be a series decider.

England coach Brendon McCullum said the heavy defeat in the third Test against India is definitely hurting the visitors but they will continue with their attacking 'Bazball' approach in the remainder of the five-match series.
England's "Bazball" approach backfired big time in the third Test which they lost by a massive 434 runs, their largest defeat in terms of runs since 1934, to go 1-2 down in the series.
But McCullum said he has "no regrets" about their approach.
"We'll turn the page and go quids in again trying to put India under pressure," McCullum was quoted as saying by BBC Sport.
"Hopefully in seven or eight days we'll be talking about how exciting it is to be heading into a decider." The fourth Test is scheduled to be played in Ranchi from Friday.
England have had a successful run under McCullum and captain Ben Stokes, playing an attacking brand of cricket to secure 14 wins from 20 Tests prior to the defeat in Rajkot.
"People are entitled to their opinion, good, bad or ugly," said the former New Zealand captain.
"It's up to us whether we want to listen to it or not. The dressing room is a very strong place where confidence is high and guys are backed to go out there and allow their talent to flourish. If we allow the outside noise to seep in, that's our problem," McCullum said.
He said England are a much better team now.
"We've still got some progress to make and some things to improve on, but we're a better team now than we were 18 months ago," said the 42-year-old McCullum.
"We're obviously not totally screwed down on the method yet. There will be times when we don't quite get it right because it's a hard way to play. It's asking guys to take the game on and sometimes we have to deal with failure.
"The upside is hopefully continuing to put bums on seats, make Test cricket more entertaining, we'll win more often and we'll be a team that people really want to follow." McCullum also backed struggling Joe Root and Jonny Bairstow to deliver in the upcoming matches.
"People see a shot like that and go, 'Joe Root is struggling to deal with this new regime'," he said.
"His impact on the game is still very, very significant. Imagine if this becomes the norm for Joe as well, with the talent he possesses and the history he's got. Then what's the ceiling? Do we want just a normal Joe Root, or do we want an even better Joe Root? How many games are we going to win if that happens." McCullum vowed to bounce back in the series.
"I'm pretty excited about the next two. If we bounce back from this then we'll know this team is starting to get where we want it to get to.
"Too right we can win the series," he said.

It is about making sure the guys are totally clear and present, confident and have conviction in their method. They are a lot better than I ever was and they will work it out how best to go about it."
"There are contrasting ways of going about it. We will see where we get to. For now, we have to tip our cap to Jasprit and say that spell (in the first innings of the second Test) was as good as anything we have seen so far on this trip," he added.
"It's all condition-dependent. When the ball is swinging like that he becomes even more of a threat. He is a fantastic bowler in all forms of the game. He is unique with his release points and with how much swing he can generate in the air."
"No doubt he is very good, but we have come up against very good bowlers all through the last 18 months or so and found ways to counter them and that is what we have got to do in this one," McCullum concluded.

Speaking to SENZ Radio, McCullum said, 'He (Bashir) was obviously with us in the camp in Abu Dhabi and he really impressed with his skill sets. He fits in the group. He, again, like Tom Hartley, has little first-class experience, but we thought his skill could help us in here.'
'He turned up at a perfect time, really (in Hyderabad). When he arrived, the guys gave him a huge cheer and he got to witness something pretty special with the fellas bowling us to a Test win. Look, he comes into calculations for the next Test match,' McCullum added.

18 out of the 20 Indian wickets fell to the spinners in the 1st Test, with the other two being runouts. As a result, England stunned the hosts in Hyderabad by winning the Test by 28 runs.

England Test coach Brendon McCullum feels the cricketing landscape is changing quickly and the time is not far when several players will choose big money in T20 leagues across the world over playing for their respective countries.
The charismatic former New Zealand cricketer, who has turned around the fortunes of the England Test team along with skipper Ben Stokes in the last one year, indicated that cricket boards would be "naive" if they think players will turn down lucrative T20 league offers to play for the country.
"In the end, the game is going in a different direction," McCullum told Sen Radio.
"The last few years, there's been a shifting of the sand somewhat around international cricket and we'd be completely naive to think that players would turn down huge amounts of money on long-term contracts for a lot less work in these T20 leagues because they should be playing international cricket.
"Those days are fast approaching to be over," said McCullum, who stepped down as IPL side Kolkata Knight Riders' chief coach after he was offered the job to manage the England Test side.
McCullum opined that the boards will have to find a solution to the tricky issue as they cannot just allow their top cricketers to play only in the leagues while giving international cricket the short shrift.
"So, what you've got to do is you've got to work with these players, you got to work with these leagues and try and allow ideally players to have their cake and eat it too because you want your best players playing (international cricket).

"It's not good enough to say. You know what if they don't want to play international cricket for us, then bugger them... we'll move on and find someone different, because as a spectator, you want to see the best players in the world representing their countries," he said.
"I think you've got to work with them and that's something which we'll be challenged with." There is speculation that year-round domestic T20 league contracts could become a reality that could potentially empower franchises to dictate terms and McCullum feels the game's governing bodies should ensure that players return to play international fixtures for the their respective countries.
"The thing from our point of view is how do we ensure that when that decision (to play in T20 leagues for for country) comes, they're thinking about how great of a time they have representing the England Test side," said McCullum.
"How much fun they've had, how much those experiences which they've been able to get in an England shirt is so great that they are prepared to continue to put their yards and even though it might not be as financially viable as some of the other leagues."

This was the third time that both the teams had a three-day match in the series as Day 1 got washed out while Day 2 was chalked off so as to pay respect for Queen Elizabeth II who passed away on Thursday.
