Mark Margolis died in New York City after a short illness on August 3. He was 83.

Actor Mark Margolis, who played Hector Salamanca in &lsquo;Breaking Bad&rsquo; and &lsquo;Better Call Saul&rsquo;, passed away at the age of 83. Morgan Margolis, his son, actor, and Knitting Factory Entertainment CEO, shared the news and mentioned that the veteran actor died on August 3 at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City following a short illness.
Mark Margolis was nominated for an Emmy for his performance in &lsquo;Breaking Bad&rsquo; in 2012. He returned as Hector &lsquo;T&iacute;o&rsquo; Salamanca for five seasons in the Bob Odenkirk-led prequel series &lsquo;Better Call Saul.&rsquo;
Margolis moved to New York at a young age to pursue acting. He landed roles in productions such as &lsquo;Infidel Caesar&rsquo; on Broadway and went on to appear in over 50 Off-Broadway plays, including &lsquo;Uncle Sam&rsquo; and &lsquo;The Golem.&rsquo;
Brian De Palma&rsquo;s mob classic &lsquo;Scarface&rsquo; was his breakout film in which he played the villain and bodyguard Alberto, aka The Shadow.
Mark Margolis has over 70 film credits across five decades.
Besides &lsquo;Breaking Bad&rsquo; and &lsquo;Better Call Saul,&rsquo; Margolis had recurring roles in television series including &lsquo;The Equalizer,&rsquo; &lsquo;Oz&rsquo; &lsquo;Kings&rsquo; and &lsquo;American Horror Story: Asylum&rsquo;.
In a statement, Margolis&rsquo; manager Robert Kolker said, &lsquo;He was one of a kind. We won&rsquo;t see his likes again. He was a treasured client and a lifelong friend. I was lucky to know him.&rsquo;

Actor Mike Batayeh, known for playing the role of laundromat manager in popular series 'Breaking Bad', died due to a heart attack during his sleep on June 1.

Actor and comedian Mike Batayeh died in his sleep at home in Michigan on June 1 from a heart attack, according to his family.
According to the family, Batayeh had no history of heart problems, and his death was unexpected.
'Those who loved him' and others who enjoyed his career will 'greatly miss him,' his family said in a statement.
In 2011, Batayeh appeared in three episodes of the AMC hit drama series Breaking Bad, which aired from 2008 to 2013.
Batayeh played Dennis Markowski, the manager of Lavandera Brillante industrial laundromat, a notorious coverup for a massive meth lab operation on the show.
Batayeh was also a voice actor and a comedian.
Throughout his career, he appeared in films such as American Dreamz and Detroit Unleaded, as well as TV shows such as The Bernie Mac Show and CSI: Miami.
