BJP leader Khushbu Sundar slammed Air India on Tuesday claiming she was made to wait at the Chennai Airport for half an hour with a knee injury as the airline could not provide her with a wheelchair.&nbsp;
Taking to Twitter, the actor-politician said, "Dear @airindiain you do not have a basic wheelchair to take a passenger with a knee injury. I had to wait for 30mnts at Chennai airport with braces for my ligament tear before they could get a wheelchair borrowed from another airline to take me in. I am sure you can do better."

Responding to the complaint, the Airline in a tweet said "Dear Ma'am, we're extremely sorry to know about your experience with us. We're taking this up immediately with our Chennai airport team."

BJP leader Kapil Mishra has stoked up a debate after he compared treatment of accused in two different air travel urination cases that came to light recently.&nbsp;
Taking to Twitter, Mishra said that while accused Shankar Mishra, who allegedly urinated on an elderly woman passenger in-flight was denied bail by a Delhi court another offender Jauhar Ali Khan who allegedly urinated publicly and even misbehaved with passengers was granted bail on the same day of his arrest.
Alleging bias, Mishra in his post questioned as to why Khan was granted bail and not sacked from the job, while Shankar lost his job and is still in jail.&nbsp;

Meghalaya BJP vice president Bernard N Marak arrested in a brothel case has been slapped with new charges under Explosive Substances Act and Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act. Meghalaya Police on Thursday recovered explosive materials and arms including 35 gelatine sticks, 100 detonators , 4 crossbows and 15 arrows from the arrested BJP leader's farmhouse.
The former militant leader has a history of cases against him. Since the early 2000s, he was booked under various sections of the IPC and Immoral Trafficking (Prevention) Act, 1956 with over 25 criminal cases against him across the North East state.

Marak's tryst with BJP has been that of ups and downs. He joined the saffron party after peace talks, but quit the party in 2017 over Centre's ban on sale of cattle slaughter. In 2019 he rejoined tha party and won from Tura in Garo Hills Autononomous District  Council election held in 2021.

BJP’s general secretary, Organisation, Ashok Koul, was on morning walk at his official residence at Church Lane here, when a leopard suddenly appeared in the lawn, a BJP spokesman said.
Koul managed to give a slip to the leopard, the spokesman said.
The Wildlife department was informed immediately and they reached the spot and caged the wild animal, he added.
The leopard was later released in the Dachigam national park here.

Koul managed to give a slip to the leopard.

A group of three militants opened indiscriminate fire at BJP leader Rakesh Pandita around 10.15 pm while he was visiting his friend's house in the Tral area of Pulwama, police said. His friend's daughter also suffered injuries and was hospitalised in critical condition.
The attack was condemned by Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha and leaders cutting across party lines, including Mehbooba Mufti and Sajad Lone.
According to the police spokesperson, Pandita was a "protected person" and had been provided with two Personal Security Officers (PSOs) and a secured accommodation in Srinagar.
At the time of the incident, Pandita was without any PSO as he defied the standard operating procedure (SoP) and went to his native village in the south Kashmir district without his security.
