The armed forces personnel whose bodies were identified in the last few hours are Junior Warrant Officer (JWO) Pradeep, Wing Commander P S Chauhan, JWO Rana Pratap Das, Lance Naik B Sai Teja and Lance Naik Vivek Kumar.
"The mortal remains of the five personnel were released to close family members this morning," said a senior military official.
The bodies are being taken to the home towns of the five personnel by air for last rites with appropriate military honour, the officials said.
Chief of Defence Staff Gen Bipin Rawat, his wife Madhulika and his Defence Adviser Brigadier LS Lidder were among the 13 people killed in the crash.
As per plan, the mortal remains of JWO Pradeep will reach Sulur at around 11 am, while the body of Wing Commander Chauhan is expected to reach Agra at 9:45 am, the officials said.
The body of JWO Das will be flown to Bhubaneswar and the aircraft carrying it is expected to land there at 1 pm.
The mortal remains of Lance Naik B Sai Teja will reach Bangalore at around 12:30 pm and that of Lance Naik Vivek Kumar will reach Gaggal in Himachal Pradesh at 11:30 am, the officials said.

Manufactured by Russian Helicopters' subsidiary Kazan, the helicopter has an onboard weather radar and is equipped with the latest generation of night vision devices.
It also has the new PKV-8 autopilot system and a KNEI-8 avionics suite. It can carry a maximum take off weight of 13,000 kg and maximum payload weight of 4,000 kg.

India had in 2008 signed a deal with Russia to induct 80 Mi17V5 medium lift helicopters for strengthening its chopper fleet for humanitarian and disaster relief missions and transport operations.
The contract was later expanded for delivery of 151 Mi17V5 helicopters.
The first batch of these helicopters came to India in September 2011.
In February 2012, the IAF had formally Mi17V5 helicopters from Russia to enhance its operational capabilities including carrying troops and cargo to high altitude areas.
The helicopter is fitted with a self-defence system against heat seeker missiles, heavily-armoured cockpit, vital systems and components.
"The Mi-17V-5 military transport helicopter is designed to carry personnel, cargo and equipment inside the cargo cabin or on an external sling, drop tactical air assault forces and reconnaissance and sabotage groups, destroy ground targets and carry the wounded," said Russian government's defence exports company Rosoboronexport.
According to the company, this helicopter can achieve a maximum speed of 250 km per hour.
The helicopter is fitted with advanced TV3-117VM engines.

The Indian Air Force on Wednesday&nbsp;evening confirmed that India&rsquo;s first Chief of Defence Staff, General Bipin Rawat, and his wife Madhulika Rawat were among the 13 people killed in the chopper crash in Tamil Nadu&rsquo;s Coonoor.
The IAF said Group Captain Varun Singh is the lone survivor among the 14 occupants and is currently under treatment at Military Hospital in Wellington.
General Rawat was on a visit to Defence Services Staff College &nbsp;in the&nbsp;Nilgiri Hills to address the faculty and student officers of the Staff Course.
Around noon, an IAF Mi 17 V5 helicopter with a crew of 4 members carrying General Rawat&nbsp;and 9 other passengers met with a tragic accident near Coonoor.
The helicopter&nbsp;was on its way from Sulur in Coimbatore&nbsp;and was heading to Wellington,&nbsp;where Chief of Army Staff MM Naravane&nbsp;was also slated to participate in the event.

The accident site was a scene of despair with trees being reduced to broken pieces under the impact of the crash, flames from the chopper engulfing the wooden logs resulting in billowing smoke and personnel scurrying to douse the fire,
The mangled and burnt remains of the ill-fated IAF chopper were strewn along the site, even as rescue services personnel were seen carrying bodies in stretchers to be transported through waiting ambulances.

An Indian Air Force helicopter with Chief of Defence Staff Gen Bipin Rawat on board crashed on Wednesday near Coonoor in Tamil Nadu, the IAF said, as four people were killed in the mishap that happened reportedly due to low visibility owing to foggy conditions.
However, there was no immediate information on the condition of Gen Rawat, even as the IAF said a Court of Inquiry has been ordered into the accident, involving a Mi-17VH chopper that took off from the Sulur IAF Station in nearby Coimbatore.
TV visuals showed the badly damaged chopper in flames, possibly under the impact of the crash. Apparently, a major tragedy was averted as the helicopter fell at some distance away from a human habitation, averting possible mass casualties.
The accident site was a scene of despair with trees being reduced to broken pieces under the impact of the crash, flames from the chopper engulfing the wooden logs resulting in billowing smoke and personnel scurrying to douse the fire, including using buckets and water hose. What seemed to be some charred bodies were also seen lying around.
The mangled and burnt remains of the ill-fated IAF chopper were strewn along the site, even as rescue services personnel were seen carrying bodies in stretchers to be transported through waiting ambulances.
The accident site remained out of bounds for civilians.
Official sources in New Delhi said all the injured people on board the helicopter had been evacuated from the spot of the accident.
Rawat was on his way to the Defence Staff College in Wellington.
Official sources in Coimbatore said four bodies had been retrieved and three people rescued from under the debris of the helicopter which crashed in Katteri-Nanchappanchathram area near here in the hilly Nilgiris district. There was no concrete information on the number of persons travelling in the helicopter though official sources had earlier said 3-4 senior officials were among its occupants.
The helicopter, carrying a few senior officials, was on its way from Sulur in Coimbatore to DSC in Wellington where Rawat, along with Chief of Army Staff MM Naravane, was slated to participate in an event later, the sources added.
The chopper crashed in the forest area, reportedly due to poor visibility following heavy fog, they added.
Rescue personnel, along with Army men, were seen involved in clearing the area.
Medical teams from nearby Coimbatore, including burns specialists, have also been sent to Coonoor to treat the injured.
Meanwhile, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M K Stalin will visit Coonoor and will leave for Coimbatore by air later in the day.

An Indian Air Force helicopter with Chief of Defence Staff Gen Bipin Rawat on board crashed on Wednesday near Coonoor in Tamil Nadu, the IAF said, as four people were killed in the mishap that happened reportedly due to low visibility owing to foggy conditions.
However, there was no immediate information on the condition of Gen Rawat, even as the IAF said a Court of Inquiry has been ordered into the accident, involving a Mi-17VH chopper that took off from the Sulur IAF Station in nearby Coimbatore.
TV visuals showed the badly damaged chopper in flames, possibly under the impact of the crash. Apparently, a major tragedy was averted as the helicopter fell at some distance away from a human habitation, averting possible mass casualties.
The accident site was a scene of despair with trees being reduced to broken pieces under the impact of the crash, flames from the chopper engulfing the wooden logs resulting in billowing smoke and personnel scurrying to douse the fire, including using buckets and water hose. What seemed to be some charred bodies were also seen lying around.
The mangled and burnt remains of the ill-fated IAF chopper were strewn along the site, even as rescue services personnel were seen carrying bodies in stretchers to be transported through waiting ambulances.

Official sources in New Delhi said all the injured people on board the helicopter had been evacuated from the spot of the accident.
Rawat was on his way to the Defence Staff College in Wellington.
Official sources in Coimbatore said four bodies had been retrieved and three people rescued from under the debris of the helicopter which crashed in Katteri-Nanchappanchathram area near here in the hilly Nilgiris district. There was no concrete information on the number of persons travelling in the helicopter though official sources had earlier said 3-4 senior officials were among its occupants.
The helicopter, carrying a few senior officials, was on its way from Sulur in Coimbatore to DSC in Wellington where Rawat, along with Chief of Army Staff MM Naravane, was slated to participate in an event later, the sources added.
The chopper crashed in the forest area, reportedly due to poor visibility following heavy fog, they added.
Rescue personnel, along with Army men, were seen involved in clearing the area.
Medical teams from nearby Coimbatore, including burns specialists, have also been sent to Coonoor to treat the injured.
Meanwhile, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M K Stalin will visit Coonoor and will leave for Coimbatore by air later in the day.

In a big tragedy, an army chopper carrying Chief of Defence Staff and his wife crashed in Tamil Nadu on Wednesday.
Initial reports said that 14 people, including senior defence officials, were on board the Mi Series chopper when the accident happened.
News agency PTI&nbsp;has reported that at least 4 onboard have been confirmed dead.
Videos from the site of the crash showed Chopper up in flames.

Reports also added that 3 on board were rescued and admitted to a hospital.
A tweet from the Indian Air Force confirmed the crash and also that CDS&nbsp;Rawat&nbsp;was on board.&nbsp;
The chopper reportedly crashed between Coimbatore and Sulur in Tamil Nadu.
The rescue operations is on and the Army has not officially said anything on the incident yet.

He also said there is a possibility of threat to Jammu and Kashmir as well as to the North-eastern region due to the situation in Afghanistan which the Taliban has taken over a few months ago but the threat can be negated by working on internal monitoring.

He said a close watch should be kept on the situation in Myanmar as well as the Rohingya refugees in Bangladesh, with the danger of the latter being exploited by fundamentalist elements.
He also said India&rsquo;s relations with Bhutan and Nepal have always been robust and any issues with these countries have been addressed in a positive manner.
Gen Rawat said internal security challenges of the NE region have serious international dimensions as extremist outfits have connectivity, including hideouts across the border, and their members frequently use porous borders to escape security forces.
He, however, added that in recent years there has been a reduction of violence in the NE region and lauded the combined efforts of security agencies and civil society for achieving it.
Gen Rawat said it was crucial that the land link of the region with the rest of the country is maintained through the Siliguri corridor.
This vulnerable corridor will always remain a cause of concern and any attempt to block it by any element must be nipped in the bud, he added.
"India has to be on alert of the possible impact of the situation in Afghanistan in Jammu and Kashmir. We have to seal our borders. Internal monitoring is essential,&rdquo; he told a press conference.
To a question if the change in regime in Afghanistan could pose danger to Assam and the Northeast, Rawat said a &lsquo;likely threat&rsquo; could be there.
&ldquo;We have to defend ourselves. We need to educate our people on the need to be conscious of their own security,&rdquo; he said.
the North-eastern region, especially Assam, is advantageously positioned to project India's soft power to the world, the chief of defence staff said.
"North East region including Assam is a land of potential. In fact, it has the potential to be the pivot for projection of soft power of India in the regional countries,&rdquo; Gen Rawat said.
He stressed the need for developing multi-model connectivity through development of means of transportations to access ASEAN and other markets.
He also highlighted the potential of developing the manufacturing and services sector in the NE region, which can help it cater to the international market.

In his remarks, Admiral Aquilino referred to challenges that India has been facing, specifically with regard to "sovereignty on the Line of Actual Control" as well as the "foundational security concerns" in the South China Sea region, in a clear reference to China's aggressive behaviour.
The Chief of Defence Staff said India is committed to ensuring a terrorist-free environment in the region.
"As far as Afghanistan is concerned, we will make sure that any activity likely to flow out of Afghanistan and then find its way into India will be dealt with in the manner in which we have been dealing with terrorism in our country," Gen Rawat said.
"I think if any other support can be forthcoming from the Quad nations, in at least identifying the terrorists and getting some intelligence input to fight this global war on terrorism, I think that will be welcomed," he said.
The Quad comprises India, the US, Japan and Australia.
Gen Rawat said New Delhi was concerned about the possibility of terrorist activities from Afghanistan impacting India and contingency plans were put into place to deal with such a challenge.
"From India's perspective, we were anticipating a Taliban takeover of Afghanistan. We were concerned about how the terrorist activities from Afghanistan could overflow into India," he said.
"And to that extent, our contingency planning had been ongoing and we are prepared for it. Yes, the timelines certainly surprised us. We were anticipating this thing happening maybe a couple of months down the line," he added.
Gen Rawat said the Taliban has not changed in the last 20 years and only its partners have changed.
"It is pretty much the same; it is the same Taliban that was there 20 years ago. News reports and reports from the expats who have come from there are all telling us the kind of activities the Taliban is into. All that has happened is that the partners have now changed. It is the same Taliban with different partners," Gen Rawat observed.
His comments came in the backdrop of mounting concerns over the possibility of rise in activities of various terror groups including the Lashkar-e-Toiba and Jaish-e-Mohammed from Taliban-controlled Afghanistan.
Admiral Aquilino largely talked about challenges facing the Indo-Pacific, noting that it is the most consequential region for the future.
"The attack on the&nbsp;rules-based international order that allows freedom of navigation for all is certainly one of the most critical challenges," he said "That freedom of navigation allows two-thirds of the world's economy to flow through the South China Sea. One-quarter of the world's liquid natural gas flows through the area. It is critical for the prosperity of all the nations and when it is challenged and potentially confronted, that will negatively impact all the nations in the region," Admiral&nbsp;Aquilino&nbsp;said.
He described the challenges as the "foundational security concern".
"There are many more. There is economic coercion, there is corruption. There are challenges that the Indians, specifically with regard to sovereignty on the Line of Actual Control...There are rules against the people of Hong Kong," he said.

"It is pretty much the same; it is the same Taliban that was there 20 years ago. News reports and reports from the expats who have come from there are all telling us the kind of activities the Taliban is into. All that has happened is that the partners have now changed. It is the same Taliban with different partners," Gen Rawat observed.
His comments came in the backdrop of mounting concerns over the possibility of rise in activities of various terror groups including the Lashkar-e-Toiba and Jaish-e-Mohammed from Taliban-controlled Afghanistan.
Admiral Aquilino largely talked about challenges facing the Indo-Pacific, noting that it is the most consequential region for the future.
"The attack on the&nbsp;rules-based international order that allows freedom of navigation for all is certainly one of the most critical challenges," he said "That freedom of navigation allows two-thirds of the world's economy to flow through the South China Sea. One-quarter of the world's liquid natural gas flows through the area. It is critical for the prosperity of all the nations and when it is challenged and potentially confronted, that will negatively impact all the nations in the region," Admiral&nbsp;Aquilino&nbsp;said.
He described the challenges as the "foundational security concern".
"There are many more. There is economic coercion, there is corruption. There are challenges that the Indians, specifically with regard to sovereignty on the Line of Actual Control...There are rules against the people of Hong Kong," he said.

Rawat pointed out that Chinese soldiers are mostly enlisted for a short duration and don't have experience of fighting in the mountain terrain of the Himalayas, whereas soldiers in India have specialised training and are very adept at warfare in difficult zones like the Tibet autonomous region.
