Bihar's&nbsp;BJP MLA Shreyasi Singh won her second Gold medal at 64th National Shooting Championship on Sunday held&nbsp;in Patiala. The first Gold for Shreyasi came in the shotgun event while the second was in the double trap event.
The sitting MLA&nbsp;Shreyasi took to social media and posted pictures on Instagram with a statement, saying she is thankful to her 'karyakartas' in Jamui for handling all the work in Jamui while she was away.
Shreyasi, who is an Arjuna&nbsp;Awardee, has won successive medals in the Commonwealth Games. She won a Silver medal at the 2014 Glasgow games while clinching Gold in the 2018 Gold Coast Games.
Shreyasi contested in her maiden election from Jamui assembly constituency on BJP ticket in 2020 and won the election by 41,000 votes.

Bihar Director General of Police&nbsp;Gupteshwar Pandey on Tuesday took voluntary retirement from service, triggering speculations that the outspoken officer would contest the coming state Assembly polls.&nbsp;Pandey&nbsp;was involved in the investigation of actor Sushant Singh Rajput's death by suicide in Mumbai.&nbsp;He had recently been in the headlines for his stout defence of the Nitish Kumar administration when it was under attack from the Shiv Sena-led government in Maharashtra over Bihar Police's probe into the death of Rajput. He had also courted controversy with his 'aukaat' remark on Rhea Chakraborty.

Patna, PTI: Bihar Director General of Police (DGP) Gupteshwar Pandey on Tuesday took voluntary retirement from service, triggering speculations that the outspoken officer would contest the coming state Assembly polls.
Pandey's request seeking voluntary retirement was approved by Governor Phagu Chauhan, a notification issued by the state home department said.
Director General (Homeguards) SK Singhal has been given additional charge of DGP, ADG (Headquarters) Jitendra Kumar told PTI.&nbsp;
Pandey, a 1987 batch IPS officer, was involved in the investigation of actor Sushant Singh Rajput's death by suicide in Mumbai.
He had recently been in the headlines for his stout defence of the Nitish Kumar administration when it was under attack from the Shiv Sena-led government in Maharashtra over Bihar Police's probe into the death of Rajput.&nbsp;
He had also courted controversy with his 'aukaat' remark on Rhea Chakraborty.
Bihar Assembly election is likely to be held in October-November.
Pandey had taken premature retirement to contest the Lok Sabha elections in 2009, but later the state government did not accept his VRS application and reinstated him in the service.
