Legendary singer Bhupinder Singh passed away on Monday evening. He breathed his last at a Mumbai hospital. In his decade-long career, he sang many classics like, Beeti Na Beetai Raina, Dil Dhoondta Hai, Naam Gum Jayega, Ek Akela Is Shaher Mein, Huzoor Is Kadar bhi na Itra ke Chaliye.
He has worked with several gems of the industry including Mohammed Rafi, RD Burman, Madan Mohan, Lata Mangeshkar, Asha Bhosle, Gulzar to Bappi Lahiri. Celebs including actors like Ajay Devgn and Shekhar Suman, singers like Vishal Dadlani and Adnan Sami, filmmaker Madhur Bhandarkar and trade analyst Taran Adarsh paid tribute to the legend. Grieving Bhupinder Singh's death, Devgn wrote that he is "deepy saddened by the demise of Bhupinder ji and added that his voice brought joy to millions. 
While Dadlani wrote that he was a voice from a gentler time. He further added that he beautifully sang, 'NaamGumJaayega' composed by RD Burman and penned down by Gulzarsaab.
