Two brahmin men threatened Dalit rights group Bhim Army's Chief Chandra Shekhar Aazad for visiting the home of the 19 year old Dalit girl In Hathras, Uttar Pradesh who was assaulted and allegedly raped by upper caste Thakur men. This chilling video shows the upper caste men making their threats in the presence of the police. The two men are part of the Rashtriya Savarn Parishad that claims to work to mobilise the upper caste in India.

A case has been registered against Bhim Army chief Chandrashekar Azad and 400 others after he visited Hathras in Uttar Pradesh on Sunday to meet the family of the 20-year-old Hathras Dalit girl who was gangraped and later died in Delhi last week. An FIR was filed under multiple sections of the IPC and Epidemic Diseases Act, for violation of Section 144 CrPC in Hathras. Azad had marched for about five km after he was stopped by the police first when he was on his way. Later, he was stopped again by the UP Police when he held a massive protest after entering Hathras.

As protests over Hathras&nbsp;gangrape&nbsp;case take centrestage in the national capital, Bhim army activists have now demanded gun licenses and subsidised guns for&nbsp; unprivileged sections.
In a tweet, Bhim&nbsp;Army Chief Chandrasekhar Azad&nbsp;said,&nbsp;&nbsp;20 lakh Bahujans of the country should be granted gun licenses immediately, adding that the govt should provide a 50 % subsidy to purchase guns and pistols.
Azad&nbsp;also said that the constitution provides its citizens with the right to live including the right to defend themselves.
