The Omaha, Nebraska-based conglomerate shed a total of 5.8 million BofA shares in separate sales on last Friday, Monday and Tuesday for almost $228.7 million at an average selling price of $39.45 per share, according to a new regulatory filing.
<h3>What's going in Buffett's mind?</h3>
BofA is one of the stock Buffett showed interest. In 2011, Buffett bought $5 billion worth of BofA&rsquo;s preferred stock and warrants. He converted warrents in 2017 hwich made him the biggest stockholder of BofA. That's not it, 'Oracle of Omaha' then added 300 million more shares in 2018 and 2019.&nbsp;
&ldquo;I don&rsquo;t know what exactly he&rsquo;s doing, because frankly, we can&rsquo;t ask him. We wouldn&rsquo;t ask,&rdquo; he said during Barclays Global Financial Services Conference, according to a transcript on FactSet. &ldquo;But on the other hand, the market&rsquo;s absorbing the stock ... we&rsquo;re buying a portion of the stock, and so life will go on.&rdquo;
Moynihan, who has been leading the bank since 2010, praised the 94-year-old&rsquo;s shrewd investment in his bank in 2011, which helped shore up confidence in the embattled lender struggling with losses tied to subprime mortgages.
&ldquo;He&rsquo;s been a great investor for our company, and stabilized our company when we needed at the time,&rdquo; Moynihan said.&nbsp;
Oracle of Omaha is also selling Apple, American Express and Charlotte as well.
But where he's investing? Oracle of Omaha is not putting his money anywhere but he's considering cash as a best option to have right now.&nbsp;
In the last quarterly results of Berkshire Hathaway, company informed the exchanges that it has reduced shareholding from apple, american express and bank of america and cash holding of the company has been increased up to 178 billion dollars.&nbsp;

Reliance Jio has updated its mobile tariffs, introducing a range of new unlimited plans effective from July 3, 2024

Day after Jio increased its tariff prices, Bharti Airtel, India's second-largest telecom operator, announced a 10-21 percent hike in mobile service tariffs, effective July 3, 2024. Bharti Airtel stated that the price hike will result in an increase of less than 70 paise per day on entry-level plans. The company emphasized that the Average Revenue per User or ARPU must exceed 300 rupees to ensure the financial sustainability of the telecom sector in India. Reliance Jio has updated its mobile tariffs, introducing a range of new unlimited plans effective from July 3, 2024. The plans start from 189 rupees for 2 GB per month and go up to 3,599 rupees for an annual plan offering 2.5 GB per day.&nbsp;

Bharti Airtel has hit a new milestone with its shares crossing Rs 1,000 a piece for the first time ever. In today's trading session, the stock successfully crossed this significant threshold, reaching an all-time high of Rs 1,007 apiece, gaining 2.24%

In the current year, Bharti Airtel has recorded a return of 23.56%, outperforming the benchmark Nifty 50, which registered a 10.62% gain during the same period. With this historic high, the stock has propelled the market capitalisation to Rs 6 lakh crore. At its peak price of Rs 1,007, the company's market cap reached an impressive Rs 5,71,291 crore.
BSE data reveals that so far in India there are only nine Indian publicly listed firms with a market capitalisation of over Rs 5,00,000 crore. Out of this, Bharti Airtel has found itself in seventh position.

This comes after the company recorded a bullish performance in Q2FY24. The company recorded a net profit of&nbsp; Rs 1,341 crore in the September quarter of this financial year. Though this profit is 37% decrease compared to the Rs 2,145.2 crore reported in the same period last year, the profit after tax (PAT) demonstrated robust growth, registering an increase of 44.2% YoY during the quarter. Its revenue for the September 2023 quarter stood at Rs 34,527 crore, reflecting a 7% growth compared to Rs 37,044 crore in the corresponding period last year.
Following this robust performance, brokerage firms gave the stock a buy rating. Geojit Financial Services has upgraded its rating on the stock to 'buy' and revised the target price to Rs 1,042 per share.
Similarly, Axis Securities has also retained its 'buy' recommendation on the stock with a Target Price of Rs 1,155 apiece. Motilal Oswal and ICICI Securities have also retained a 'buy' call on the stock, maintaining target prices of Rs 1,070 each

Deal talks between Bharati and Paytm have reportedly now collapsed. As per reports, the talks over Bharati buying a stake in Paytm came to a halt because Paytm refused to give up management control. Reportedly, the fintech giant didn&rsquo;t see a strategic alliance in the payments business due to differences in business model. A Paytm spokesperson told CNBC-TV18 that while they do not comment on market speculation, they can confirm that the company remains fully focused on their strong organic growth journey and that they are not involved in any such discussion. Last week Bloomberg reported that the telecom giant had shown interest in acquiring a stake in the country's leading digital payments platform. Meanwhile, Bloomberg reports that Ant Financial plans to further sell its stake in Paytm. Ant held 25 percent stake in the company, of which it sold 3 percent in January 17 this year.&nbsp;
