Rajasthan police have detained 6 persons for questioning, a day after two men were found charred to death inside a car in neighbouring Haryana.
The families of victims Nasir and Junaid had claimed that they were abducted from Rajasthan's Bharatpur by Bajrang Dal cow vigilantes. Police said that half-a-dozen people are being interrogated, and those named in the FIR are associated with the Bajrang Dal. Cops added that it is not yet clear whether they were involved in the crime.
Police added that one of the victims - Junaid - was facing 5 cases of cow smuggling.
Superintendent of Police, Bharatpur, Shyam Singh said an FIR has been registered at Gopalgarh police station against five people -- Anil, Srikant, Rink Saini, Lokesh Singhla and Monu -- on the basis of a complaint lodged by the victims' family members and teams have been formed to nab the accused.
The accused have been booked under sections 143 (unlawful assembly), 365 (kidnapping), 367 (grievously hurt after kidnapping) and 368 (wrongfully keeping in confinement) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC), he said.

In a grisly incident, two men were found charred to death inside a car in Haryana's Bhiwani district on 16 February 2023. The families of the men claimed that it was murder.
In their police complaint, the families reportedly said that the deceased had been kidnapped from Bharatpur in Rajasthan by Bajrang Dal members. The victims were identified as 25-year-old Nasir, and 35-year-old Junaid.
The families said that it was a case of rogue cow vigilantism, but police said that an investigation is still underway.

Two aircraft of IAF crash; Defence minister Rajnath Singh monitoring situation

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh was briefed by Chief of Air Staff Air Chief Marshal V R Chaudhari on the crash of two IAF aircraft, they said.

Two fighter aircraft of the Indian Air Force crashed on Saturday, defence ministry sources said.
The sources said the exact location of the crash is being ascertained.
Preliminary reports suggested that one aircraft fell in Morena in Madhya Pradesh and other reportedly went down in the general area around Bharatpur, the sources said.
The fate of the pilots are not immediately known.
Defence Minister Rajnath Singh was briefed by Chief of Air Staff Air Chief Marshal V R Chaudhari on the crash of two IAF aircraft, they said.
Singh enquired about the well-being of pilots and is monitoring the developments closely, the sources said.
