Michigan's Rijul Maini wins Miss India USA 2023. Sneha Nambiar crowned Mrs. India, Saloni Rammohan as Miss Teen. Virginia's Greeshma Bhat, first runner-up.

Rijul Maini, a 24-year-old medical student from Michigan, was recently crowned Miss India USA 2023 at the annual pageant held in New Jersey.
Alongside, Sneha Nambiar from Massachusetts was crowned Mrs India USA, and Saloni Rammohan from Pennsylvania earned the Miss Teen India USA title. On the other hand, Greeshma Bhat of Virginia was declared first runner-up and Ishita Pai Raikar of North Carolina was the second runner-up.
The organizers mentioned that three distinct pageants&mdash;Miss India USA, Mrs India USA, and Miss Teen India USA&mdash;featured a combined 57 contestants from over 25 states. Winners in each category will receive complimentary airfare to participate in Miss-Mrs-Teen India Worldwide.
<h3>Who is Rijul Maini</h3>
A model and medical student, Ms. Maini aspires to become a surgeon, aiming to inspire women globally through her example, as per the beauty pageant.
Ms Maini took to Instagram and shared a post about the same. The 24-year-old wrote, "I am so humbled and grateful to say that I am the new MISS INDIA USA 2023! &nbsp;This could not have been possible without the support of my loving parents and family, Michigan pageant directors @chrysaliscouturemi @msindiamichigan @utsavplanners, and ride or die friends that stuck with me every step of the way. They say it takes a village and that couldn't be more true!!"
She thanked her family and her mother who curated her outfits. &nbsp;"And to my loving amazingly talented momma, who curated the most beautiful outfits for me to walk the stage. Love you so much, I am so blessed to have you!! @soniamainii Thank you to @gauridesigns for executing such stunning pieces!! I am especially grateful for the family of amazing, strong, confident women I gained throughout this process. Your light shines so bright, never dim it for anyone. In a groundbreaking move, Natasha Beresford, 26, clinched the title of Miss London 2023 without a trace of mascara or a hint of gloss.
The competition marked a historic moment as it was the "first-ever makeup-free" Miss England pageant. Dressed in an elegant white lace gown from the sustainable wedding dress brand Shikoba Bride, Natasha, a dental nurse, outshone 18 other contestants for the coveted title last week. She is set to advance and compete for the Miss England crown later this year.
Unlike conventional beauty pageants, where glittering eyeshadows and bold lip colors take center stage, judges in this unique competition emphasized the contestants' occupations, studies, natural beauty, and ethical values, as highlighted on the competition's website.
The runner-ups in the pageant were Afrose Ameen, a 23-year-old engineering student, and Temi Adeyemi, a 26-year-old accounts assistant and model.
Natasha's decision to compete without makeup stemmed from her desire to challenge societal beauty standards that often impose undue pressure on young girls. "I never felt I met beauty standards.
