Responding to the alleged rape of two minor girls, Goa&nbsp;Chief Minister Pramod Sawant told the state Assembly on Wednesday that the parents of teenagers need to introspect as to why their wards hang out on the beaches after nightfall.
Sawant was responding to accusations levelled by the Opposition MLAs, who had alleged a breakdown in the law and order situation in Goa after two minor girls were allegedly raped at the popular Colva beach in South Goa on the night of July 24.
The Chief Minister said that ten&nbsp;children went for a party on the beach and out of the 10, six returned home. He said when a 14-year old girl spends the night on the beach, the parents too have to introspect, they too should be taking care.He said just because children are not listening to their parents, the government cannot leave all the responsibility to the police.

Drishti Marine, a lifeguard agency of the Goa government, released a statement where they urged tourists to exercise caution while visiting the beaches. Covid-19: Art Basel Miami Beach has been cancelled

One of the largest art fairs in the world, Art Basel at Miami Beach has been called off.

The annual Art Basel fair in Miami Beach, scheduled to take place in early December, has been cancelled owing to the Covid-19 pandemic.
The decision has been taken keeping a range of factors in mind, including restrictions on international travel, large-scale gatherings and rules of quarantine. Its Hong&nbsp;Kong and Basel editions were cancelled earlier this year.
Art Basel however has launched a host of digital initiatives, where it will host two editions of its 'Online Viewing Rooms'.
One dedicated to artworks created during 2020 which will be held from the 23rd to the 26th of September. The other will be dedicated pieces created between 1900 and 1999, which will be held from the 28th to the 31st of October.&nbsp;
