Two Bajrang Dal workers were arrested after they made calls to violence during a rally in Uddipi.

Two Bajrang Dal leaders were booked for allegedly delivering provocative speeches during a public event in the Udupi district of Karnataka. The speech was delivered on August 13 during the &lsquo;Akhand Bharat Sankalp&rsquo; programme organised by the Bajrang Dal unit in Karkala town of the district. A video of their speech which was given after the rally concluded went viral on the internet. The police took suo motu action and booked the accused and arrested them.
During the speech, the accused allegedly asked the party activists to assault the individuals involved in cow slaughter.

The death toll in the violence that erupted after clashes between two groups during a religious procession in Haryana's Nuh has mounted to 6.
Pradeep Sharma, a worker of the right-wing group Bajrang Dal succumbed to his injuries while undergoing treatment at Delhi's Safdarjung Hospital. He was injured in the communal clashes in Nuh.&nbsp;
Haryana chief minister ML Khattar said that stray incidents of violence reported elsewhere after the Nuh clashes have been brought under control.
The injured have been admitted to various hospitals, including at Nalhar in Nuh and Medanta in Gurugram, the Haryana chief minister said, adding that 116 people have been arrested while a search was on to nab the other accused.
In a statement, Khattar said as per information so far, six people have died out of which two are home guards and four are civilians while several people have been injured.
The conspirators are being identified, he said, while promising strict action against the guilty and asserting that the security of common people "is our responsibility".
Apart from Haryana police personnel, 20 companies of central security forces have been deployed in the state. Three of them have been stationed in Palwal, two in Gurugram, one in Faridabad and 14 in Nuh, Khattar said and appealed to the people to maintain peace.
On Tuesday, Khattar had termed the Nuh violence "unfortunate" and said the attack on a VHP procession was "well-planned which pointed to a larger conspiracy". &nbsp;"The attack was carried out in Nuh in a well-planned manner to disrupt the (Brij Mandal Jalabhishek) yatra. Police were also targeted, pointing at a larger conspiracy," Khattar had said in a tweet in Hindi.
Home Minister Vij had on Tuesday said someone "engineered" the violence in Nuh to disturb peace in Haryana. On Tuesday, authorities imposed a curfew in the district after the previous day's violence.&nbsp;

Bajrang Dal plans pan-India stir against attack on Hindu family system, blames entertainment industry

The Vishwa Hindu Parishad which is the parent body of the right-wing group said it was concerned about how the entertainment industry was attacking the Hindu family system, it also there was a concentrated effort to convert Hindus in the country.&nbsp;

The Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) on Sunday said its frontal outfit Bajrang Dal will launch a nationwide campaign in September this year to raise awareness over issues like "attacks" on the Hindu family system, "rising love jihad" cases, and illegal religious conversions.
The aim of the initiative is to unite Hindus to tackle these issues, it said.
The right-wing organisation said the biggest attack on the Hindu family system seems to be coming from the entertainment world.
The two-day Central Governing Council meeting of the VHP concluded here on Sunday with a resolution to stop "attacks" on the Hindu family system and ban religious conversions, an office-bearer of the organisation said.
Briefing about the decisions, VHP's central working president Alok Kumar said we are concerned over all-around attacks on the Hindu family system and increasing incidents of 'love jihad' and illegal religious conversions.
"We have decided that the Bajrang Dal will take out a nationwide 'Shaurya Jagran Yatras' from September 30 to October 14. Through these yatras, Hindus living in every corner of the country will be organised and enabled to deal with these problems," he added.
'Love jihad' is a term used by right-wing organisations to allege a conspiracy to convert Hindu women to Islam through marriage.
Besides, revered saints will undertake country-wide tours to connect people with families and to highlight the importance of social and national values of life around this Diwali, he added.
Releasing a copy of the resolution on the Hindu family system, he said that in the last few decades, our strong family system has been deeply hurt by the entertainment world, academicians inspired by anti-Hindu ideologies, court decisions and materialistic mentalities.
As a result, this unique system that connects a person to family, society and nation and takes him to the welfare of the world has been muddled and disintegrated, he said.
"The biggest attack on the family system seems to be coming from the entertainment world. 'Swechhachaarita' (licentiousness) is being glorified through movies, web series, various serials, etc, and the family system is being made an object of ridicule," he said.
The industrial world is also conspiring to cut off society from its basic roots and culture by insulting our culture, values and traditions in its advertisements. They are seen encouraging greed-based unrestrained consumerism instead of a need-based restrained life, he said.
The VHP has requested all governments to make constructive contributions in strengthening this system while making education policy or framing family-related laws. The Censor Board and the governments have been urged to discharge their responsibilities in this regard with more "alertness and sensitivity" he said.
The resolution also said that the judiciary is also expected to keep this in mind while giving decisions, he said.
The Shaurya Jagran Yatras will be taken out across the country at the block level with a special focus to connect the young generation. Apart from the expansion of its Bal Sanskar Kendras, the VHP will also expand conducting examinations on Gita/Ramayana etc, in schools and colleges throughout the country, he added.&nbsp;

Meanwhile, the Rajasthan police while terming the development as 'sad' has denied any involvement but said they are investigating the matter as the allegations are serious.
Dulari Devi, the mother of Srikant Pandit who is a member of the cow protection group led by Monu Manesar, also alleged in her complaint that the police forcibly took away her two other sons.
Varun Singla, Superintendent of Police of Nuh, said that a complaint from Devi has been received and a probe has been initiated.

Devi alleged that the Rajasthan police team had assaulted her family members, including women, during the incident on Friday morning.

&ldquo;When I told them that my son was not at home, they thrashed me and my son's pregnant wife Kamlesh. They uttered abuses and took away my two sons Vishnu and Rahul with them and we still don't know about their whereabouts," she claimed.
Devi claimed that her daughter-in-law had completed nine months of pregnancy.

Police said that half-a-dozen people are being interrogated, and those named in the FIR are associated with the Bajrang Dal. Cops added that it is not yet clear whether they were involved in the crime.
Police added that one of the victims - Junaid - was facing 5 cases of cow smuggling.
Superintendent of Police, Bharatpur, Shyam Singh said an FIR has been registered at Gopalgarh police station against five people -- Anil, Srikant, Rink Saini, Lokesh Singhla and Monu -- on the basis of a complaint lodged by the victims' family members and teams have been formed to nab the accused.
The accused have been booked under sections 143 (unlawful assembly), 365 (kidnapping), 367 (grievously hurt after kidnapping) and 368 (wrongfully keeping in confinement) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC), he said.

In a statement, Gujarat VHP&rsquo;s Ashok Rawal said, &lsquo;After the Bajrang Dal&rsquo;s protests against the Hindi film, Pathaan, the Censor Board has removed obscene lyrics and lewd words from the film, which is good news. I congratulate all workers and the entire Hindu society for this successful struggle to protect religion and culture.&rsquo;
While talking to PTI, he further said that the censor board has made 40 to 45 corrections related to songs, colour and clothes, which solve the problems and hence, they won&rsquo;t protest. Rawal said, &lsquo;Following the Bajrang Dal&rsquo;s protests against Pathaan, the Censor Board has revised the obscene song and unsavoury words in the film, which is good news. He also said, &lsquo;I also request the Censor Board, producers, and theatre owners that, as an important part of the film industry, if they oppose such things keeping in mind the religion, culture and patriotism beforehand, the Bajrang Dal and other Hindu bodies will not have any objection,&rdquo; said the Gujarat VHP&rsquo;s regional leader. We leave it to the enlightened citizens of Gujarat to decide whether to watch the film or not.&rsquo;
Meanwhile, Pune City police have booked a group of Bajrang Dal activists for allegedly gathering illegally to protest against &lsquo;Pathaan&rsquo; at Rahula Cinema Hall in Shivajinagar.&nbsp; The Bajrang Dal activists reportedly gathered at the cinema hall on Sunday and allegedly tore posters of the movie.

The restrictions were imposed in Lowairpua Bazar area on 9 January 2023, while distribution of leaflets, posters, and banners has been banned in all of Karimganj.
On 8 January, Bajrang Dal member Sambhu Koiri was allegedly attacked and killed with sharp weapons. One person was arrested a day later, police said.
"Koiri was attacked with sharp weapons. Local people had immediately rushed him to a nearby hospital, but the doctors there declared him dead on arrival," cops said.
Shortly after the incident, locals had gheraoed the Bazaricherra Police Station in the district, demanding arrest of the culprits. Additional forces were also deployed in the area.

Photographs and videos of Bajrang Dal activists allegedly undergoing training holding air guns and 'trishul deeksha' have gone viral on social media.
According to sources, the camp was part of the 'Shaurya Prashikshana Varga' that took place from May 5 to 11 at Sai Shankar Educational Institute, at Ponnampet in Kodagu district.
About 400 activists were said to have taken part in the Bajrang Dal-organised event.

Isn't training in firearms without a proper license an offence? Isn't this a violation of the Arms Act 1959, Arms Rules 1962? And Why are @BJP4India leaders openly attending and supporting this activity?" Congress MLA Rizwan Arshad tweeted: "At this age, most young men set out to achieve dreams. In K'atka, Bajrang Dal is destroying young lives by training them to unleash violence in the name of religion. This needs to be stopped at any cost".
Police said they have not received any complaint so far.

Photographs and videos of Bajrang Dal activists allegedly undergoing training holding air guns and 'trishul deeksha' have gone viral on social media.

Six people have been arrested while about a dozen others detained for questioning in connection with Bajrang Dal activist Harsha's murder in Karnataka's Sivamogga. The district remained tense on Tuesday as a few incidents of violence were reported.
Harsha was stabbed to death on Sunday night allegedly by a group of men, who came in a car. Police suspect the involvement of seven people in the murder.
Senior police officials said that all the accused have been identified.

Jnanendra told reporters in Bengaluru that a detailed investigation, encompassing all angles, including the Hijab row, role of religious outfits, funding and who provided vehicle, is being conducted.
Appealing for peace and calm, the Minister said such incidents should stop in the state.
"Police have performed their duties. We appeal to people not to allow any room for disturbing peace. The government will certainly arrest the criminals and get them punishment appropriately," He also asked called upon the people of the state to end 'these kind of murders'.
"These kind of murders should stop and it should end with Harsha's murder. This is the commitment of the government and the police department. We are taking this case to the logical end. So, there should not be any doubt among people," the minister said.
Jnanendra said senior officers have camped in Shivamogga and were lending their special guidance to the investigation team.
He also assured that those involved in stone pelting will also be brought to book.
