The 2024 BAFTA TV Awards were held on May 12th at London's Royal Festival Hall, honouring the best in British television from the past year. &lsquo;Top Boy&rsquo; and &lsquo;Happy Valley&rsquo; were major winners, while &lsquo;The Crown&rsquo; faced disappointment with zero wins from its 8 nominations.
In the international category, top contenders like Succession, Beef, and The Bear were all surpassed by the underrated French series &lsquo;Class Act&rsquo;, which took home the award.
In the acting categories, Jasmine Jobson won a BAFTA Award for Supporting Actress in &lsquo;Top Boy&rsquo;, and Timothy Spall won Leading Actor for &lsquo;The Sixth Commandment'.
Other winners included Squid Game: The Challenge for Best Reality, Strictly Come Dancing for Best Entertainment Programme, and Joe Lycett for Best Entertainment Performance.
