The video captures a lighthearted moment among the national players and Azam is seen holding US dollars while engaging in a casual chat with Babar, who is behind the camera along with other team members.
Babar laughingly asked Azam, "What happened Abba?", who responded: "Bohat garmi hai (It is too hot here)," while wiping sweat with the dollar notes leading to laughter from teammates.
"Apart from a rare few in Pakistan's sporting history, none have the charisma, impact and influence of any kind, nothing for a young kid to aspire to. The current lot is just hopeless," wrote a user on social media.
Another user emphasised the need for education, stating: "That's why we always keep saying basic education is a must, these people travel the world but don't learn the basic humane values. Send them to school before you send them to an international platform." One fan wrote that while Pakistani people were facing food shortage, Azam is sitting under a roof and mocking poor people.
According to a reliable source in the Pakistan Cricket Board, the video also didn't go down well with some top officials and the players have been told to avoid unnecessary social media posts since the PCB already has a full fledged digital media department which keeps on uploading videos about the players.

That's all that is left..., save Nizam-e-Hind, save the law, you don't have to offer anything, you just have to encourage yourself. Sit wherever you get stopped and try to move forward instead of stepping back," he said.

Samajwadi Party MLA Abdullah Azam Khan was disqualified from the Uttar Pradesh Assembly on Wednesday, an official said, days after a court sentenced him to two-year imprisonment in a 15-year-old case.
The Representation of the People Act lists offences which can lead to the disqualification of legislators and states that anyone sentenced to imprisonment of two years or more shall be disqualified "from the date of such conviction" and remain disqualified for another six years after serving time in jail.
This is Khan's second disqualification from the Assembly and comes months after his father and senior Samajwadi Party leader Azam Khan was disqualified from the legislature after his conviction in a hate speech case.
The junior Khan represented Suar in Rampur district in the Assembly.
"Abdullah Azam Khan has been disqualified following the Moradabad court order sentencing him to two years (in jail) in a 15-year-old case. His seat has been declared vacant from February 13," a senior official of the Assembly said.
On Monday, the Moradabad court awarded the jail term to Abdullah Azam Khan and his father in the 2008 case.
They were sentenced under section 353 (criminal force to deter public servant from discharge of his duty) and other provisions of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) over a dharna on a state highway on January 29, 2008 as their cavalcade was stopped by police for checking in the wake of an attack on a CRPF camp in Rampur on December 31, 2007.
The court has, however, granted bail to both of them.
The junior Khan was earlier disqualified from the Assembly in 2020 after the Allahabad High Court set aside his election. The disqualification was effective from December 16, 2019.
The Allahabad High Court had ruled that he was not qualified to contest the election as he was below 25 years of age when he filed his nomination papers as the SP candidate from Suar in 2017.
He again won from Suar in the 2022 assembly elections.
In October last year, the senior Khan, who represented Rampur Sadar in the Assembly, faced disqualification after a court sentenced him to three years in jail in a hate speech case.
In the by-poll held on the seat in December last year, BJP's Akash Saxena defeated Khan's protege Asim Raza.
Azam Khan had won the Rampur Sadar seat nine times since 1980.&nbsp;

The Supreme Court is scheduled to pronounce on Tuesday its verdict on whether restrictions can be imposed on a public functionary's right to freedom of speech and expression.
A five-judge Constitution bench headed by Justice S A Nazeer, who is set to retire on January 4, is likely to deliver the verdict.
The top court, which reserved its verdict on November 15, had said people holding public offices should exercise self-restraint and not blabber things that are disparaging or insulting to other countrymen.
The apex court had said this approach is part of our constitutional culture and there is no need for it to formulate a code of conduct for public functionaries.
"It is inherent and there is no need for this court to give a code of conduct on that. Any person holding a public office or is public servant, there is an unwritten rule and it is part of constitutional culture that they impose a self restriction and not blabber things which are very disparaging or insulting to our other countrymen.
"There is something like a constitutional restriction or limitation inherent in such persons. This must be inculcated in our political society and our civic life," Justice &nbsp;Nagarathna, who was part of the five-judge bench, had observed orally.
A three-judge bench had on October 5, 2017 referred to the the Constitution bench various issues for adjudication, including whether a public functionary or a minister can claim freedom of speech while expressing views on sensitive matters.
The case stemmed from a statement made by then Uttar Pradesh minister Azam Khan about the Bulandshahr gang-rape case victims.
The court was hearing a plea filed by a man whose wife and daughter were allegedly gang-raped in July, 2016 on a highway near Bulandshahr seeking transfer of the case to Delhi and lodging of an FIR against Khan for his controversial statement that the gang-rape case was a "political conspiracy"

The BJP on Thursday won the Rampur Sadar assembly seat for the first time as its candidate Akash Saxena defeated his nearest Samajwadi Party rival Asim Raja.
Bypoll to the Rampur Sadar seat, considered an Azam Khan stronghold, was necessitated after the SP leader was sentenced to three years in jail in a hate speech case, and subsequently disqualified as MLA.
Saxena, who won by a margin of 33,702 votes, has been handed over the winners certificate by the Returning officer.

The Samajwadi Party suffered a setback on 27 October 2022 with one of its senior leaders, Azam Khan, being found guilty in a hate speech case.
Azam Khan has reportedly been convicted in a case filed against comments he made on Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath in 2019. He has been sentenced to 3 years in jail. The judgment was given by a court in UP's Rampur.
Azam Khan is a Member of UP's Legislative Assembly from Rampur. The SP leader is currently facing more than 90 cases which include charges of extortion, criminal conspiracy, and theft.
Khan spent around 27 months in jail after being arrested in 2020. He walked out of Sitapur jail in May 2022 after the Supreme Court granted him interim bail.

Samajwadi Party president Akhilesh Yadav on Wednesday met senior party leader Azam Khan at Delhi's Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, a meeting that came amid speculations of a rift between both leaders.
The meeting lasted for nearly two and a half hours and according to sources, both leaders discussed the bypolls to the Rampur Lok Sabha seat, vacated by Khan after he was elected to the Uttar Pradesh Assembly earlier this year.
The meeting between both leaders took place after a long time, with Khan's close associates earlier accusing Yadav of ignoring the senior party leader when he was lodged in the UP's Sitapur jail.
Khan was granted bail by the Supreme Court last month after he spent over two years in the jail.
The senior leader was admitted to the Medicine Department of the the Delhi hospital on Sunday for a routine check-up.
"Akhilesh Yadav visited the hospital and met Azam Khan, who is admitted to the facility," a hospital source said.
The Khan's condition is "perfectly stable", hospital sources said.
In a tweet, Yadav said, "Praying for good health...get well soon." Yadav met the senior leader for the first time after visiting him in the Sitapur jail in the initial days of his imprisonment in 2020.
The SP supremo not visiting Khan was resented by the senior leader's supporters, leading to speculations that all is not well between both leaders.
Senior socialist leader Shivpal Singh Yadav after meeting Khan in the Sitapur jail had targeted Akhilesh Yadav as well as party patriarch Mulayam Singh Yadav for leaving the senior leader in the lurch.
The Wednesday's meeting between Yadav and Khan is seen in the backdrop of the bypolls to the Rampur Lok Sabha seat on June 23.
Along with Rampur, bypolls are scheduled to be held for the Azamgarh Lok Sabha seat vacated by Yadav after he was elected to the state Assembly.
Though there is no official word from the Samajwadi Party on candidates for the two seats, speculations are rife that Akhilesh Yadav wife Dimple Yadav could be fielded from Azamgarh while Khan would pick a nominee in his Rampur bastion.

Thousands of cases have been lodged against me, my family and my people. I can only say that I have a role in my destruction and my own people contributed to it.”

So Azam Khan walked out of jail after 2 years and bail in 88 cases against him. What next? And what does it mean for UP politics? After many ups and downs and much drama, Azam Khan's exit has been hailed a ‘victory’ by many including SP (Lohia) leader and Akhilesh Yadav's uncle Shivpal Yadav.  And while Akhilesh Yadav, too, joined Khan’s family and allies, in celebrating his release, reports suggest tensions persist between the jailed leader and SP chief.  Amid reports of tensions between SP and Khan, major political parties in UP are said to be vying for his attention. The ten-time MP from UP’s Rampur district and one founding members of Samajwadi Party and the party’s ‘Muslim face’, comes with substantial clout and large voter base. RLD chief Jayant Chaudhary, AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi, BJP MP Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh are all said to be wooing Khan. BSP leader Mayawati recently slammed the BJP for the continued incarceration of Khan and came out in his support. Last month, Yadav visited several jailed SP members, and didn’t pay a visit to Khan. Yadav is said to have only visited Khan once since his incarceration.

Akhilesh&rsquo;s bete noire, his uncle Shivpal, is in the frame. &nbsp; &nbsp; In April, Akhilesh visited several jailed Samajwadi&nbsp;members, but didn&rsquo;t pay a visit to Khan.&nbsp; &nbsp; There are others who want to join Khan&rsquo;s political swayamvar&nbsp;too in case he wants to move on from the party he co-founded. &nbsp; &nbsp; RLD chief Jayant Chaudhary, AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi, BJP MP Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh are all said to be wooing Khan. Then there is Mayawati who recently slammed BJP over Khan&rsquo;s prolonged incarceration.
