"Winter is approaching slowly. But the temperature in politics is rising fast. Yesterday, the results of the four state elections came out. The results are very encouraging...especially for those who are committed to the welfare of the common people of the country and to the bright future of the country...," said PM Modi.
Notably, BJP scored a hat-trick in the Hindi heartland, winning elections in Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan and Chhattisgarh.&nbsp;

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday hailed BJP's big win in the assembly polls as a victory for his government's agenda of self-reliant India, asserting that its hat-trick in the states is a guarantee of its hat-trick of Lok Sabha poll wins in 2024.
"The results show popular support for our battle against corruption," he told a crowd of cheering supporters at the BJP headquarters here, adding that they have served a lesson to the Congress and the opposition's INDIA bloc that mere collecting some dynasts on dais may make for a good photograph but cannot win people's confidence.
No one should come in between the Centre's development and people, or the masses will remove them, Modi said in a stinging attack on opposition parties.
Some people are already saying our hat-trick in the states is a guarantee of hat-trick in the Lok Sabha polls in 2024, he said.
He told opposition parties to not support those working against the country's interests at a time when development is taking place at a fast pace. Addressing a big gathering of BJP members, including many Union ministers, Modi said these results will ensure the world's belief in India and infuse more confidence into global investors for the country.

Opposition Congress has slammed extention of the free ration scheme announced by PM Modi saying it an indication of the 'continuing high level of economic distress and growing inequalities'.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday, November 4, announced that the Centre will extend the scheme providing free ration to 80 crore poor people of the country for the next five years.
The announcement was made by him while addressing a public rally in Chhattisgarh ahead of the state assembly elections.
However, Congress slammed the move saying that the decision to extend the free ration scheme was an indication of the &ldquo;continuing high level of economic distress and growing inequalities.

In a joint press conference by senior leaders Jairam Ramesh, KC Venugopal and Abhishek Singhvi, the party said that the allegations are 'a clear-cut conspiracy to tarnish Bhupesh Baghel's image' and added that 'people will give befitting reply'.
Earlier, the BJP alleged that the Congress is funding their election expenses 'with the help of hawala operators'. In a press conference, Union Minister Smriti Irani said it was 'shocking that we have the use of hawala operation, illicit money through illegal betting to fund the Congress campaign'.
