Ashish Vidyarthi has opened up on his second marriage.

Actor Ashish Vidyarthi, who married fashion entrepreneur Rupali Barua on May 25, took to social media and opened up on why he got married for the second time. He also shared that his relationship with his former wife Piloo Vidyarthi ended on an amicable note.
In a video, Vidyarthi said that everyone today has a different life and different understanding of life. He said, &lsquo;Each of our lives is different. Each of us has different challenges, different backgrounds, education, and the way we think. Each of us has different professions. We are all from different social strata, different countries, religions, and beliefs, but one thing which is common is, all of us want to be happy.&rsquo;
Talking about his ex-wife, Ashish said, &lsquo;22 years back Piloo and I met and we got married. Well, it was an amazing one. We had Arth who is now 22, he is working. But somehow for the last few years, Piloo and I discovered that after this beautiful inning that we played together, we felt how we saw the future was slightly different from one another.&rsquo;
The couple realised that &lsquo;differences can be sorted out but it could be in a way that one of us will impose on the other and that will take away from the happiness. And happiness is what we all want, right?&rsquo;
The actor says he always knew he wants to get married again because he wants to travel with somebody.
&lsquo;So, I literally get the word out in the universe. I was at that point 55 and I said I want somebody to get married to. And that&rsquo;s how I met Rupali Barua. &ldquo;We got chatting, we met a year back and then we discovered something interesting about one another and we thought we could be walking together as husband and wife and therefore, Rupali and I got married. She is 50 and I am 57, not 60, but age doesn&rsquo;t matter my friend. Each one of us can be happy, whatever the age,&rsquo; the actor added.
Ashish Vidyarthi concluded the video by saying that we should &lsquo;respect&rsquo; everyone&rsquo;s life choices. &lsquo;Let&rsquo;s keep moving. Let&rsquo;s respect how people are living their lives, each differently, but with the sole intention of fulfilling responsibilities and being happy,&rsquo; he concluded.
Earlier, Piloo Vidyarthi also opened up on her relationship with Ashish and said that her ex-husband never cheated on her and there was no &lsquo;torture or hardships&rsquo;.

Actor Ashish Vidyarthi tied the knot with Kolkata fashion entrepreneur Rupali Barua in an intimate ceremony in Kolkata on Thursday. The couple registered their marriage in the presence of their friends and family in the morning, followed by a get-together in the evening. The wedding was a blend of cultures that the couple represents. Rupali donned a beautiful white and golden Mekhela Chador from Assam, while Ashish wore a white and gold Mundu from Kerala. Ashish Vidyarthi started his career in 1986. He has appeared in a number of Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, English, Odia, Marathi, and Bengali films. So far, he has worked in almost 300 films in 11 different languages. The National award-winning actor was earlier married to Rajoshi Vidyarthi, an Indian actor, singer, and theatre artist. Ashish Vidyarthi said that no one wants to make a bad or flop film, but, if a movie does fail to deliver, they should learn from it, and move on.

Veteran actor Ashish Vidyarthi opened up about the ongoing boycott trend due to which the Hindi film industry has faced a tough time throughout this year.
In an interview with DNA India, he said that 'such hatred is worthless' and &lsquo;we don&rsquo;t get anything out of it&rsquo;.
&lsquo;Agar aap khud se naraaz hai, toh aapko dusro mein burai dikhegi aur usse naraazgi hogi (If you are angry with yourself, you will see the bad in people and get angry about it). Such hatred is worthless, we don't get anything out of it. I meet few people who are not good at their work, neither do they speak well. But, I don't get influenced by them. I carry on with our work. That's my only advice to everyone. Kisi ki burai mat karo, lekin apna kuch kamaal ka kaam karo (Don't do bad to others but you do some great work),&rsquo; he said.
Ashish also talked about Bollywood's 'dull phase' and said that 'creative people don't sit and crib about the losses, hits or flops'. He said people might get moved with the reception, but they learn from it, and start working on the next project. The actor added that no one wants to make a bad or flop film, but, if a movie does fail to deliver, they should learn from it, and move on.
On the work front, Ashish has multiple projects in the pipeline such as &lsquo;Aar Ya Paar&rsquo; that will stream on Disney+ Hotstar from December 30, and &lsquo;Trial by Fire&rsquo;, a limited series based on the 1997 Uphaar Cinema fire, which will start streaming on Netflix on January 13.
