The Bombay High Court on 23 December 2022 granted bail to Riyazuddin Kazi, an accused in the Antilia bomb scare and Mansukh Hiran murder cases.

A former policeman accused in the case of a bomb scare outside industrialist Mukesh Ambani's house has been granted bail.

Kazi was arrested by National Investigation Agency for allegedly helping Sachin Waze, another cop who has been accused of parking an SUV with gelatin sticks outside Reliance Industries chief Mukesh Ambani.
In his bail plea filed through advocate Hasnain Kazi, the former policeman said he was not charged under the stringent Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA) and the charges against him were bailable.

Additional Solicitor General Anil Singh, appearing for the NIA, had submitted that there was no evidence of Kazi's involvement in the planting of gelatin sticks in the SUV near 'Antilia' or of him being involved in Hiran's murder.
The evidence against him was of collecting crucial evidence, that of DVR of CCTV, without making official records like sealing and 'panchanama', and of destroying them, Singh had said.
After hearing both sides, the court granted bail to the accused.

Police said the taxi driver was standing near Killa court in south Mumbai when a car pulled over and its occupants asked him about the location of Ambani's residence.
In February this year, an explosives-laden SUV was found parked outside 'Antilia', triggering panic.
The National Investigative Agency is probing the alleged role of the then Assistant Police Inspector of Mumbai Police, Sachin Waze, in the SUV incident, and he was arrested.

According to the remand report of the National Investigation Agency (NIA) that was submitted in court, the investigating body said, it appears that former assistant police inspector Sachin Waze drove the white vehicle that escorted the SUV with explosives near the residence of Mukesh Ambani on February 25. The NIA wants to obtain custody of the former Assistant Police Inspector for 12 days in the bomb scare case. The NIA probe in the case has identified Sachin Waze as the person seen on CCTV footage wearing a large kurta and covering his face, a few hours after the Scorpio SUV was parked outside the Ambani residence that day. The Mumbai Police Monday suspended Assistant Police Inspector Sachin Waze following his arrest by the NIA in connection with the recovery of explosives from a car found outside industrialist Mukesh Ambani&rsquo;s home. Waze is also part of an inquiry by the Maharashtra Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) into the death of businessman Mansukh Hiren, who owned the Mahindra Scorpio car that was found outside Ambani&rsquo;s south Mumbai residence &lsquo;Antilia&rsquo;.
