The crackdown coincided with an encounter at Maredumilli in Alluri Seetharam Raju district on November 18 where top naxalite commander M Hidma and five others were killed.
"Following Hidma's killing, we launched a coordinated intelligence-driven operations across five districts and apprehended 50 CPI (Maoist) cadres," said ADGP Intelligence Mahesh Chandra Laddha, addressing a press conference in Vijayawada.
Police said that the arrested cadres belonged to different ranks within the Maoists, including special zonal committee members, divisional committee members, area committee members and regular party members operating across the south Bastar-Dandakaranya region.
According to Laddha, this is one of the most extensive operations undertaken in recent years, resulting in the arrest of 50 Maoist operatives from multiple districts.
The operation was carried out across Krishna, Eluru, NTR, Kakinada and Konaseema districts, including Vijayawada City in a silent, synchronised manner, he said.
Personnel from the State Intelligence Department, Special Investigation Branch (SIB), district police units and the Vijayawada Commissionerate took part in the crackdown following inputs on the Maoists movement.
Laddha said that many cadres fled from Sukma, Bijapur, Narayanpur and West Bastar districts in Chhattisgarh due to sustained security pressure and they were arrested in Andhra Pradesh.
Police recovered 39 weapons, 302 rounds of ammunition, detonators, cordtex wire, communication devices and Rs 13 lakh in cash from various locations during the searches.
The ADGP observed that three special zonal committee members and several divisional committee members were among the arrested cadres, marking a significant leadership collapse within the Maoist structure.
The operation prevented their reorganisation attempts and dealt a major blow to Maoist networks operating between Chhattisgarh and Andhra Pradesh, he added.
"The entire operation was executed with silent precision, ensuring no cadre escaped and no civilian was harmed," SIB chief PHD Ramakrishna told PTI.

A day after six Maoists were gunned down at Maredumilli in Andhra Pradesh, seven more died in another exchange of fire in the vicinity on Wednesday, police said.
Addressing a press conference in Vijayawada, Mahesh Chandra Laddha, ADGP, Intelligence said three women were among those died today.
"In continuation with Tuesday's operation, seven Maoists have died until now (on Wednesday), according to information received from the field," Laddha said, adding that today's operation occurred about 7 km away from the initial exchange of fire (EOF) site on Tuesday.
According to the senior officer, the seven Maoists were killed around 7 am today at Maredumilli in Alluri Sitaramaraju district.
Even as the identification of the slain Maoists is underway, Laddha said one of them was identified as Meturi Jokha Rao alias Tech Shankar.
Shankar, a native of Srikakulam, was in-charge (CCM) for Andhra Odisha Border (AOB) and had specialised in technical operations such as arms manufacturing and communication, the official said, based on preliminary information.
According to Laddha, Shankar had been in the Maoist movement for about 20 years and continuous security operations compelled him to move.
Further, Laddha noted that Shankar, a native of Srikakulam, would have probably come to the southern state to revive the movement.
On Tuesday, six Maoists, including top naxalite commander Madvi Hidma, were killed in an encounter with security personnel in the forested area of Maredumilli mandal.
Chhattisgarh Police described Hidma's death as the "final nail in the coffin" of the insurgency, who had masterminded several attacks over the last two decades.
Hidma headed the Maoists' People's Liberation Guerrilla Army (PLGA) Battalion No. 1, the strongest military formation of the outfit in Dandakaranya, which spans parts of Andhra Pradesh, Odisha, Telangana, and Maharashtra, apart from Bastar, for several years, officials said.

The death of Hidma, an alleged mastermind of several attacks, was described by Chhattisgarh Police as the "last nail in the coffin" of insurgency.
Alluri Sitaramaraju district superintendent of police (SP) Amit Bardar said the encounter happened between 6.30 am and 7 am in the forested area of Maredumilli mandal.
"Today morning, between 6:30 AM and 7:00 AM, an exchange of fire (EOF) occurred between Maoists and the police party in the Maredumilli Mandal area. During the encounter, six Maoists were neutralised," an official press release said.
Two women and four men were killed in the exchange of fire.
Based on reliable sources and field verification, police confirmed that Hidma, his wife Madakam Raje, Deve, Lakmal (Chaitu), Malla (Mallalu) and Kamlu (Kamlesh) died.
Intelligence inputs over the past few weeks had indicated increased Maoist movement along the Andhra Pradesh&ndash;Chhattisgarh&ndash;Odisha border, leading to intensified combing operations, police said.
Following the encounter, police seized two AK 47 rifles, one pistol, one revolver and a single bore weapon, a number of electrical and non-electrical detonators, fuse wire, seven kit bags and others.
"Combing operations are continuing in the surrounding areas to ensure complete sanitisation and prevent further Maoist activity," the press release added.
According to the SP, it was a joint operation carried out by various wings of the police department.
Addressing a press conference, Andhra Pradesh Intelligence ADGP Mahesh Chandra Ladda said Maoists from a few battalions were planning to shift to Andhra Pradesh due to continuous pressure in Chhattisgarh.
Consequently, police kept a close and continuous watch on their movements.
"For the last two days, we had very specific intelligence that a few top Maoist leaders were entering the state and were planning to revive the movement," Ladda said, adding that the bodies of the six Maoists were shifted for postmortem, and that the necessary action will be taken thereafter.
Further, police' monitoring in other districts such as NTR, Krishna, Kakinada and Eluru led to the arrest of 31 more members of the proscribed organisation.
Out of the 31 arrested, nine were security guards of central committee member Devji, while the remaining were from the battalion, Ladda said.
It has also been reported that a few Maoists managed to flee from the encounter site, and combing operations are currently under way, the official added.
Meanwhile, Chhattisgarh Police described Hidma's death as the "last nail in the coffin" of the insurgency.
He had masterminded several attacks over the last two decades.
A native of Puvarti village in Sukma district in Chhattisgarh, Hidma's age and appearance remained mysterious until his photograph surfaced earlier this year.

Several incidents of landslides, uprooting of trees, and damage to houses have been reported from various districts, an official at the Special Relief Commissioner&rsquo;s office said.
Light-to-moderate rain with wind speed ranging from 30 kmph to 40 kmph was recorded across the coastal belt, including Khurda, Cuttack, Puri, Kendrapara and Jagatsinghpur districts, in the state, the IMD bulletin said. The maximum of 105 mm rainfall has been recorded in Mayurbhanj district, followed by 93.5 mm in Balasore, 90 mm in Khurda and 74.4 mm in Chandbali, the bulletin issued by the India Meteorological Centre (IMD) said.
With the severe cyclone 'Montha' losing strength after its landfall on Tuesday evening in neighbouring Andhra Pradesh, the Bhubaneswar Meteorological Centre withdrew its 'red' (take action) and 'orange' (be prepared for action) alerts on the southern Odisha region and issued a fresh forecast. &ldquo;We have issued a 'yellow' warning (be aware) of heavy rainfall, very likely to occur at isolated places in Ganjam, Sundargarh, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Balasore, Bhadrak, Koraput, Malkangiri, Rayagada, Gajpati, Kalahandi, and Nawarangpur districts,&rdquo; said Dr Manorama Mohanty, the director of Meteorological Centre, Bhubaneswar.
She said the forecast on the wind speed has also been revised. "Malkangiri and Koraput districts will experience surface wind in the range of 45 kmph to 55 kmph, gusting to 65 kmph, while the wind speed in Gajapati, Rayagada, Kalahandi and Nabarangpur will be between 35 kmph and 45 kmph," Mohanty said.
Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi had on Tuesday night reviewed the post-landfall situation of the cyclone and said 'Montha' had no major impact on Odisha. He, however, said that the deployment of rescue teams and other preparedness measures will continue till the system crosses the state during the day.
The IMD, in its latest bulletin, said, &ldquo;The cyclonic storm 'Montha' over coastal Andhra Pradesh moved nearly north-northwestwards with a speed of 15 kmph during past six hours and lay centered (at 5.30 am) at about 80 km northwest of Narsapur (Andhra Pradesh), 230 km west-southwest of Visakhapatnam (Andhra Pradesh) and 460 km southwest of Gopalpur (Odisha).&rdquo;
The system is likely to move north-northwestwards across coastal Andhra Pradesh and Telangana and weaken into a deep depression during the next three hours and into a depression during the subsequent six hours, the IMD said. It also said the movement of the cyclone is being closely monitored through Doppler Weather Radars (DWRs) located at Machilipatnam and Visakhapatnam, along with data from coastal observatories, automatic weather stations (AWS), ships, buoys, and satellites.
The authorities continue to monitor the weakening storm as it moves inland, bringing heavy rainfall and gusty winds to several parts of coastal Andhra Pradesh, the IMD bulletin added.

Heavy rain with gale lashed Vijayawada city on Wednesday morning and a number of trees uprooted and many roads were inundated after severe cyclonic storm Montha crossed Andhra Pradesh coast near Narasapur in West Godavari district, south of Kakinada overnight, IMD said on Wednesday.
After crossing the coast, the weather system moved northwestwards with a speed of 10 kmph during the past six hours to weaken into a cyclonic storm, India Meteorological Department (IMD) bulletin issued at 5 am said.
"The latest observations indicate that the severe cyclonic storm Montha crossed Andhra Pradesh and Yanan coasts between Machilipatnam and Kalingapatnam, south of Kakinada and close to Narsapur during midnight (11:30 pm of October 28 and 12:30 am of October 29)," IMD said in a release.
The landfall process lasted about five hours, starting around 7:30 pm on Tuesday and completing around 12:30 am on Wednesday, they added.
By 2.30 am on Wednesday, Montha, which means a fragrant flower in Thai, lay centred about 20 km west to northwest of Narasapur, 50 km northeast of Machilipatnam, 90 km west to southwest of Kakinada, 230 km southwest of Visakhapatnam and 470 km southwest of Gopalpur (Odisha).
"It is likely to move northwestwards across coastal Andhra Pradesh and maintain its intensity of a cyclonic storm during the next six hours, and weaken further into a deep depression during subsequent six hours," said the Met Department.
The latest observations indicate that the rear sector of the Montha entered into the land, it said.
The Met Department forecast light to moderate rainfall likely at most places in Andhra Pradesh and Yanam and heavy to very rainfall at a few places till October 29.
Similarly, it predicted extremely heavy rainfall of greater than 20 cm at isolated places during the same period.
For October 30, it predicted light to moderate rainfall at many places with heavy rainfall at isolated places over north coastal Andhra Pradesh.

Keeping in view the impending situation, the Odisha government has evacuated people from low-lying areas and hilly terrains prone to landslides in the eight districts of Malkangiri, Koraput, Rayagada, Gajapati, Ganjam, Nabarangpur, Kalahandi, and Kandhamal. It has also deployed 140 rescue teams (over 5,000 personnel) from the NDRF, ODRAF, and Fire Service.
The administration has already announced the closure of schools and anganwadi centres in nine districts till October 30, while the East Coast Railway has cancelled, diverted, or short-terminated several trains operating in the Waltair region and connected routes. The leave of government employees has also been cancelled till October 30.
All sea beaches have been sealed to prevent tourists and locals from entering, Special Relief Commissioner (SRC) D K Singh said. People evacuated from vulnerable places are being housed in over 1,400 cyclone shelters opened across the eight districts, where food and other arrangements have been made. Pregnant women are also being shifted to nearby hospitals.
The state government has advised fishermen not to venture into the Bay of Bengal along and off the Odisha coast till October 29. The weather agency has also suggested hoisting Local Cautionary Signal No-III (LC-III) at Gopalpur Port and Distant Warning Signal No-II (DW-II) at Paradip, Dhamra, Puri, Chhatrapur, and Chandbali ports of Odisha.
Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi is likely to review the situation later in the day, an official said.
In its latest bulletin, the IMD said, &ldquo;The cyclonic storm 'Montha' over westcentral Bay of Bengal moved north-northwestwards with a speed of 15 kmph during the past six hours, intensified into a severe cyclonic storm, and lay centred at 5.30 am about 190 km south-southeast of Machilipatnam (Andhra Pradesh), 270 km south-southeast of Kakinada (Andhra Pradesh), 340 km south-southwest of Visakhapatnam (Andhra Pradesh), and 550 km south-southwest of Gopalpur (Odisha).&rdquo;
Montha means &ldquo;fragrant flower&rdquo; or &ldquo;beautiful flower&rdquo; in the Thai language.
The system is likely to continue moving north-northwestwards and cross the Andhra Pradesh coast between Machilipatnam and Kalingapatnam around Kakinada during the evening or night of Tuesday as a severe cyclonic storm, with a maximum sustained wind speed of 90&ndash;100 kmph, gusting to 110 kmph, said Dr. Manorama Mohanty, director of the Meteorological Centre, Bhubaneswar.
For Tuesday, the IMD issued a red warning (Take Action) as it forecast scattered heavy to very heavy rainfall (7&ndash;20 cm) with isolated extremely heavy rainfall (over 20 cm) at places in the districts of Malkangiri, Koraput, Rayagada, Gajapati, and Ganjam.
Similarly, an orange warning (Be Prepared) for heavy to very heavy rainfall (7&ndash;20 cm) was issued for Nabarangpur, Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Nayagarh, Nuapada, Bolangir, Sonepur, Boudh, Khurda, Puri, and Bargarh districts.
A yellow warning (Be Aware) of heavy rainfall (7&ndash;11 cm) was also forecast for Angul, Dhenkanal, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Kendrapada, Jajpur, Keonjhar, Bhadrak, Balasore, Mayurbhanj, Sambalpur, Deogarh, Jharsuguda, and Sundergarh districts.

"The cyclonic storm Montha over west-central Bay of Bengal moved north-northwestwards with a speed of 15 kmph during the past six hours (and) intensified into a severe cyclonic storm and lay centred at 5.30 am about 190 km south to southeast of Machilipatnam," said the Met Department in an official release.
It is likely to continue moving north-northwestwards and cross the Andhra Pradesh coast between Machilipatnam and Kalingapatnam around Kakinada during the evening and night of Tuesday as a severe cyclonic storm with a maximum sustained wind speed of 90&ndash;100 kmph, gusting up to 110 kmph.
The Met Department has forecast heavy rains across several parts of the southern state under the influence of Montha.
Montha means a fragrant flower in the Thai language.

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu on Monday directed officials to take precautionary measures in places where there is scope for rains and floods in light of cyclone Montha, which is likely to intensify into a severe cyclonic storm by Tuesday morning.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi spoke to CM Naidu over the phone and enquired about the cyclone, following which IT Minister Nara Lokesh has been asked to coordinate with the Prime Minister's Office (PMO).
The CM held a review meeting with officials over the cyclone at Real Time Governance System (RTGS). "The CM ordered advance action in places where rains and floods are likely. He told officials to strengthen the banks of canals to prevent crop loss," an official release said.
Naidu instructed officials to monitor the movement of the cyclone on an hourly basis.
Under the influence of the cyclone, heavy to very heavy rains are likely in Krishna district for two days from Monday, the release said. Likewise, heavy rains are expected in Guntur, Bapatla, NTR, Palnadu and West Godavari districts.
Later, the weather system is expected to move further north-northwestwards to cross the Andhra Pradesh coast between Machilipatnam and Kalingapatnam around Kakinada during the evening and night of October 28 as a severe cyclonic storm with a maximum sustained wind speed of up to 110 kmph.

President Droupadi Murmu, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu and his Telangana counterpart A Revanth Reddy expressed anguish over the incident.
Some of the bodies were charred beyond recognition, prompting officials to call forensic teams to collect DNA samples of the deceased.
Several passengers couldn&rsquo;t escape the tragedy because it struck at night while they were sleeping, an official said.
PM Modi also announced an ex-gratia.
According to initial reports, the motorcycle collided with the bus near Chinnatekur in Kurnool and got dragged underneath with its fuel cap open, triggering the blaze.
&ldquo;So far, 19 bodies have been retrieved from the charred bus. Biker&rsquo;s body is in the mortuary,&rdquo; Kurnool Range DIG Koya Praveen said.
He added that a complete picture of casualties and survivors would emerge only after a thorough investigation and identification of all those involved in the accident.
The bus door got jammed due to a short circuit and the vehicle was completely gutted within minutes. Most survivors were aged between 25 and 35 years, police added.
District Collector A Siri said 41 people were travelling in the bus, including the driver.
Of the 41 onboard, 21 have been traced.
Those who escaped the accident are stable and out of danger, she said.
Many passengers could not escape the tragedy as it occurred during the night when they were asleep, she said, adding that the bus door did not open immediately as some wires got snapped, which worsened the severity of the incident.
Most of the passengers belonged to Hyderabad, Siri added.
Officials had initially said that the bus was bound for Hyderabad in neighbouring Telangana.
Police are taking safety precautions and emptying the diesel tank of the bus.
Meanwhile, a team of medical experts reached the spot to collect DNA samples of the charred bodies, said Praveen.
The Road Traffic Association should enforce stringent action if bus operators fail to follow safety measures and use proper materials to prevent similar devastating incidents in the future.
The DIG noted that no fire control measures were present in the bus that caught fire, highlighting lapses in safety compliance and emergency preparedness during travel.
&ldquo;The loss of lives in a tragic bus fire accident in Kurnool, Andhra Pradesh is deeply unfortunate. I extend my heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family members and pray for the speedy recovery of those injured,&rdquo; President Murmu said in post on X.
PM Modi expressed grief over the loss of lives in the incident.

Chandrababu Naidu expressed shock over the incident.
He said he has spoken to the District Collector and SP. The injured persons were receiving treatment.
&ldquo;I am shocked to learn about the devastating bus fire accident near Chinna Tekur village in Kurnool district. My heartfelt condolences go out to the families of those who have lost their loved ones. Government authorities will extend all possible support to the injured and affected families,&rdquo; he said in a social media post.
Telangana CM Revanth Reddy expressed anguish over the accident and conveyed condolences to the bereaved family members.
Reddy directed the Collector and Superintendent of Police of Gadwal district in Telangana, neighbouring Kurnool, to visit the accident site as part of relief measures.
The Telangana government set up a helpline to assist the kin of passengers of the Hyderabad to Bengaluru private bus.
The government said in a release that its officers &mdash; M Sriramachandra (M 9912919545) and E Chittibabu (M 9440854433) &mdash; can be contacted for help.

Sub-Collector Mourya Bharadwaj said that one died due to a severe head injury, while another died of a heart attack. Injuries were fewer compared with previous years, he added.

Mango farmers in Andhra Pradesh are reeling under severe financial distress due to crashing prices linked to variety of reasons and limited procurement of the Totapuri variety, a prominent cash crop in Rayalaseema district.
They now suggest the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD), the custodian of the Lord Venkateswara Temple, could come to their rescue by procuring the fruits.
Despite a bumper crop in financial year 2024-25, farmers in Chittoor, Tirupati, and Annamayya districts are struggling as pulp industries allegedly refuse to buy sufficient quantities, citing reduced market demand and export challenges.
"Farmers don't want political entanglements, but genuine solutions to protect livelihoods and ensure fair prices," said M Bhanu Prakash, a mango farmer from Tirupati.
He noted that the promised Rs 4 per kg support price from the TDP-led government has been delayed, worsening hardships with rising transportation and labour costs.
"This year's production reached nearly 1.5 lakh tonne, compared to last year's 90,000 tonne, leading to oversupply problems and reduced market demand," Prakash told PTI.
Prakash demanded a Mango Board, questioning why no organised structure supports mango farmers despite the scale and significance of production in Andhra Pradesh.
Minister of State for Rural Development, Chandra Shekhar Pemmasani said that the Centre reimbursed Rs 130 crore under the Market Intervention Scheme (MIS) recognising Andhra Pradesh&rsquo;s proactive efforts to protect mango farmers during the severe market crisis.
"A total of Rs 260 crore was released at the rate of Rs 4 per kg by the state government and Rs 130 crore has been reimbursed from the Centre under the MIS," said Pemmasani in a post on X on Tuesday.
SV Subbarao, another mango farmer from Chittoor, said he had to sell 20 of the 50 acres of ancestral land due to failed procurement and mounting debts from last year's crop cycle.
"Unprocured mangoes were dumped because of lack of buyers, leading to irrecoverable losses despite high investment and labour," said Subbarao.
Farmers alleged discrimination compared to Karnataka and Tamil Nadu, where governments guaranteed up to Rs 18 and Rs 5 per kg respectively, while "Andhra&rsquo;s support price remained low".
"We suffer despite producing superior quality mangoes," said Y Suribabu Ramesh, another farmer, noting that high transport costs further diminished profits.
Ramesh argued that farmers never dump produce unnecessarily and recent dumping incidents reflected desperation and systemic neglect.
Joint Director of the Horticulture Department's Fruits Division, MG Deva Muni Reddy said Andhra Pradesh grows several mango varieties but the Totapuri variety faced a severe demand crash in the pulp industry this season.
"Domestic pulp usage declined after the Centre imposed 28 percent GST on Ready to Serve (RTS) drinks with over 10 percent pulp content, discouraging higher pulp concentration," said Muni Reddy.
Exports, which accounted for 40 percent of processed pulp, have been severely hit due to surging freight charges and Suez Canal disruptions, with nearly 70 percent decline, he stated.
"The processed pulp market weakened further due to shipping route instability amid conflicts in the Middle East," he added.
Deputy Director of Horticulture Madhu Sudhan Reddy stated pulp units face bottlenecks with around 80,000 tonne of unsold stock, including two-year-old inventory, leaving processors cash-strapped.
"Farmers are forced to sell within two to three days post-harvest. Pulp units reject overripened fruit, causing significant post-harvest losses," said Madhu Sudhan Reddy.
He cited high transport costs, long factory queues, and perishability of mangoes as key reasons behind roadside dumping incidents in Chittoor district.
A local pulp factory Commercial Manager Y Basheeruddin said farmers rushed to factories fearing policy changes, resulting in unmanageable queues and rejection of overripened fruit.
Farmers further alleged that corporate beverage companies have slashed orders, citing high input costs and fixed retail prices, worsening demand for pulp.
Small farmers, lacking cold storage, often sold mangoes at distress prices or left them to rot due to high transportation costs and limited market access.
In response to this crisis, Andhra Pradesh government issued an order on July 17 to procure 6.5 lakh tonnes of Totapuri mangoes at Rs 4 per kg.
Rs 260 crore was sanctioned to prevent distress sales and stabilise prices, primarily targeting mango farmers in the undivided Chittoor region.
Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has assured farmers of immediate procurement and urging pulp industries to purchase at a minimum price of Rs 8 per kg and additional Rs 4 is promised by the TDP-led NDA government making it a total price of Rs 12 per kg.
The state government has also sought a 6-month interest exemption on loans from the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) to reduce financial stress.
Former CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has alleged insensitivity from the current government towards mango farmers.
Farmers suggested that state temples, particularly the TTD, could help by procuring mangoes for temple kitchens.
"TTD earns crores of rupees daily and feeds thousands of devotees. They can easily buy mangoes directly from farmers," said Prakash.
With 6.5 lakh tonne produced this season and falling demand, farmers fear mounting debts and called for lasting solutions to end their recurring crisis.

"TruJet airlines will commence services" in Visakhapatnam from October while Vijayawada&ndash;Singapore and Tirupati&ndash;Muscat flights will start "soon" and seaplane operations are planned post-September.
The Qatar Aviation Fund has shown investment interest in the Bhogapuram Airport project, offering further prospects for state aviation growth and infrastructure development, the press release added.

Naidu noted that the 11th International Yoga Day "must be historic and unforgettable". The TDP-led government aims to surpass the record of 1.53 lakh participants set by Surat in 2023.
"This is a prestigious event. The Prime Minister&rsquo;s presence makes it even more special. It must be conducted spectacularly and mark the beginning of a widespread yoga movement across the state," Naidu said, in an official press release.
The programme must reach at least two crore people, and a state-wide campaign should be launched under the theme &lsquo;Yogandhra-2025,&rsquo; with every citizen made a stakeholder, Naidu added.
In the run-up to the event, a &lsquo;Yoga Month&rsquo; will be observed from May 21 to June 21, with yoga practice taking place across all village and ward secretariat jurisdictions.
Individuals, trainers, yoga associations, and experts will be involved as partners, while ordinary people will be offered both online and offline training for a month, the press release said, adding, those who complete the training will be awarded certificates of recognition.
"Everyone must consider yoga a fundamental responsibility. Even after Yoga Day, regular practice must continue across the state. For a month, there must be widespread dialogue on yoga everywhere," said Naidu.
To enhance visibility and outreach, organisations like the Isha Foundation and Art of Living should be engaged, he added.
Officials informed Naidu that crowd arrangements are being made at RK Beach in the port area, with yoga practitioners expected to be spread from this beach to Bheemunipatnam Beach on Yoga Day.
Arrangements are being made for approximately 2.5 lakh people to participate in yoga along this stretch, with 68 identified locations including public spaces like RK Beach, Rushikonda, schools, cricket grounds, police and sports complexes, navy premises, and other open grounds, according to the press release.
Naidu advised officials to aim for the participation of five lakh people by organising yoga sessions across suitable locations from RK Beach in Visakhapatnam to Srikakulam along the coastline.
On that day, yoga practice will be conducted between 7 am and 8 am.
The event will be coordinated with the Health Department, AYUSH Ministry, and central government agencies, the press release added.

The Janasena Party (JSP) supremo said that Rs 10,669 crore was spent under MGNREGS last year, generating 24.23 crore person-days of work and directly benefiting 75.23 lakh rural workers across the state.
Wages were increased from Rs 150 to Rs 307, with Rs 6,194 crore paid as wages and Rs 4,023 crore allocated for material components.
Under the Palle Panduga (Village Festival) initiative, 21,564 cattle sheds were built at Rs 377.37 crore, improving farmers&rsquo; earnings through livestock-based livelihood support across rural areas.
Kalyan said that 13,500 animal water troughs were constructed and 63,582 acres of fruit orchards were developed, boosting sustainable livelihoods among SC, ST, and BC communities in rural regions.
As many as 4,000 km of cement roads were built in backward colonies, and the government now plans to construct an additional equal length during this financial year, said the Deputy CM.
The state government partnered with SBI to offer insurance coverage of Rs 3 lakh to Rs 30 lakh for MGNREGS functionaries through a special MoU, Kalyan said.
He added that proposals worth Rs 87,000 crore were sent under the Jal Jeevan Mission, of which Rs 29,000 crore has already been approved by the Centre.
It is a central plan aimed at providing drinking water through taps to households in rural India.

Andhra Pradesh CID Police reportedly arrested suspended senior police officer and former intelligence chief PSR Anjaneyulu from Hyderabad on Tuesday over his alleged role in harassing Mumbai-based actor- model, Kadambari Narendra Kumar Jethwani.
Anjaneyulu is one of the three IPS officers who are under suspension for allegedly "hastily arresting" and "harassing" Jethwani without proper investigation in a case filed against her during the erstwhile YSRCP regime. Vishal Gunni and Kanthi Ratan Tata are the other two IPS officers.
While top police officials and sources remained tight-lipped about the development, a section of media houses, besides the ruling TDP claimed that Anjaneyulu has been 'arrested.' "IPS officer PSR Anjaneyulu has been arrested for harassing a woman (Jethwani) under the directions of (former CM and YSRCP chief) Jagan Reddy, mobilising the entire government machinery," said TDP in a post on 'X'.
Working as the intelligence chief during the erstwhile YSRCP government, Anjaneyulu toed YS Jagan Mohan Reddy's line and claimed that harassing a woman (Jethwani) is a "known fact".
According to TDP, the previous government used all its might to subdue a woman (Jethwani) and compel her to "submit" but asserted that the TDP-led government is doing "justice" to her now.
Anjaneyulu, former Vijayawada Police Commissioner Tata and Gunni, then Deputy Commissioner of Police, Vijayawada were suspended last year after an inquiry revealed their role in the alleged harassment of the model.
In connection with this case, TDP said YSRCP leader Kukkala Vidyasagar has already been arrested while the three officials were suspended and Anjaneyulu arrested today.

Aquaculture is the southern state's fourth largest sector, contributing nearly 9 per cent of the gross value added (GVA) in 2024-25 at more than Rs 1.3 lakh crore.
For 2025-26, the chief minister has set a GVA sub-sector contribution target of 9 per cent at more than Rs 1.54 lakh crore for aquaculture.
"The issue plaguing the aqua (culture) sector now is an unexpected one. However, there is no need to panic. Let's all strive together to solve the problem," Naidu said in a press release on Monday.
The chief minister also agreed to the request of aquaculture farmers to supply freshwater to their ponds as it would diminish diseases and viruses to improve yield.
He also directed traders to buy 100 count shrimp (around 100 shrimp per kilogramme) at a price of Rs 220 to assure a profitable proposition for farmers.
With shrimp exporters informing Naidu that free trade agreements with South Korea and the European Union would help them, the chief minister said he would speak to the Centre on the issue, among other efforts, to bail them out.
He also promised to set up a committee to comprehensively address the sector's issues.
Meanwhile, Naidu's predecessor YS Jagan Mohan Reddy slammed the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) government for "ignoring farmers' distress" amid a crash in shrimp prices.
Shrimp prices have plummeted from Rs 280 per 100 count to Rs 200-210, Reddy said and alleged ruling coalition-linked traders formed a syndicate to exploit farmers amid global tariff concerns.

Injured passengers were taken to Christian Medical College, Vellore, Sri Venkateswara Institute of Medical Sciences and other local hospitals, said Sainath. Police registered a case under section 106 of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita. The truck driver is absconding, police said.

The CM spent 90 minutes in the hospital with the injured devotees. He visited one patient after the others and heard their grievances.

The Court on Tuesday further directed the parents of Lalitha not to interfere with the relationship of the couple, asserting that their daughter is a major and can make her own decisions.
The couple has been &ldquo;living together&rdquo; for the past year in Vijayawada.
Based on a missing complaint by Kavitha earlier, police traced Laitha at her father&rsquo;s home, and rescued her. After that, she was kept at a welfare home for 15 days though she pleaded to the police that she was a major and wanted to live with her partner.
Lalitha also lodged a complaint against her father in September alleging that her parents are harassing her over the relationship and other issues.
After the police intervention, Lalitha came back to Vijayawada and started going to work, often meeting her partner.
However, Lalitha&rsquo;s father once again came to her place and took the daughter away forcibly in a vehicle. He kept her in his custody &ldquo;unlawfully&rdquo;, Kavitha alleged in her habeas corpus petition.
The father also lodged a complaint with police alleging that his daughter was abducted by Kavitha and her family members.
Jada Sravan Kumar, counsel for Kavitha, pointing out earlier Supreme Court judgments, argued that the detenue has expressed her unequivocal consent to cohabit with the petitioner in a shared household of the petitioner&rsquo;s parents and would never want to get back to her parents and other family members.
Kumar also informed the court that Lalitha had also expressed her desire to withdraw the complaint she lodged against her parents if she&rsquo;d be allowed to live with the petitioner.
The Vijayawada police on Tuesday produced Lalitha before the High Court following the court&rsquo;s direction.
The Bench while disposing of the petition, also made an observation that no criminal proceedings be initiated against the family members of Lalitha as she was willing to withdraw the complaint.
