The incident occurred in Delhi's Anand Vihar on 7 March, but a case was registered 4 days later, as per news agency PTI.

Three Delhi Police personnel have been suspended for allegedly beating up and urinating on two meat vendors, police said on 16 March 2023.
The accused cops were part of a mob of 7 persons which allegedly thrashed and robbed the meat vendors, and threatened to kill them.
The incident occurred in Delhi's Anand Vihar on 7 March, but a case was registered 4 days later, as per news agency PTI. The meat vendors claimed that their car had hit a scooter near Anand Vihar.
A police vehicle had arrived and the cops had demanded ₹15,000 from them, the meat vendors said. Subsequently, they were thrashed, and the group allegedly extorted ₹25,500 from them.

Air Quality Index was at 366 in ITO, 309 in RK Puram, 313 in Anand Vihar, and 339 in Wazirpur, all four in 'very poor' category on Thursday morning. An AQI between 301 and 400 is considered to be very poor. On Wednesday, the national capital&rsquo;s AQI was 276 that signified a poor category. Stubble burning in Punjab and Haryana is worsening the Capital's air. Between September 25 and October 12, at least 233 cases of stubble burning were reported in Haryana, while hundreds of fires are happening&nbsp;in fields of Punjab.

Delhi's air quality further plunged on Monday with the rise of pollutants in the atmosphere. The Air Quality Index at ITO was at 275 in 'poor' category in the morning. Rohini and Anand Vihar areas also recorded poor AQI at 275 and 263. To put it in perspective, an AQI of 50 or below is considered to be safe. The air quality in most parts of the Capital is at least 5 times hazardous than the safe levels. Farm fires in neighbouring Punjab and Haryana are only adding to the Capital's pollution woes.
