Following radical preacher Amritpal Singh's surrender and then arrest in Punjab's Moga on Sunday, his family has said that despite the turn of events they are glad he surrendered like a lion.&nbsp;
Speaking with news agency ANI, Amritpal Singh's mother said, " We are just relieved that he surrendered at the same place where his Dastar bandi ceremony took place like a lion. We were worried, if he had given up his religious attire, like shown in some videos on internet.&nbsp;
A special flight carrying radical preacher Amritpal Singh landed at Dibrugarh airport on Sunday from where was taken to the Central Jail located in the Upper Assam town
Meanwhile, Singh's family has claimed that he was working for the youth of Punjab and allegations against him are all baseless, adding they would take legal aide.&nbsp;

Mann said strictest action will be taken against the Khalistan leader. He also claimed that some anti-social elements have been instigating Punjab's youth to take up arms again.&nbsp;

Punjab chief minister Bhagwant Mann congratulated the state's police for the operation to arrest Khalistan leader Amritpal Singh and also thanked people of the state for maintaining peace and harmony.&nbsp;
He said that he had received the information about the police operation to arrest Amritpal Singh from Rode village in Moga district and added that he closely monitored the developments all night.&nbsp;
