Asia&rsquo;s second-wealthiest man, Reliance Industries Ltd. Chairman Mukesh Ambani is setting up a family office in Singapore.&nbsp;
According to a report in Bloomberg, the Mumbai-based billionaire has picked a manager to hire staff for the new entity and get it running. The Ambanis have also chosen real estate.&nbsp;
Ambani is the latest in a series of ultra-rich people to pick Singapore for their family offices &mdash; the organizations set up to manage the affairs of wealthy clans &mdash; joining the likes of hedge fund billionaire Ray Dalio and Google co-founder Sergey Brin.
The city-state has become an attractive hub for family offices thanks to its low taxes and relative security. The Monetary Authority of Singapore estimates about 700 were in place by the end of 2021, up from 400 a year earlier.

Suspended Assistant Police Inspector Sachin Waze, arrested by the NIA in the case of an explosives-laden SUV found near industrialist Mukesh Ambani's house and the murder of businessman Mansukh Hiran, was on Tuesday dismissed from police service, an official said.
The order terminating Waze's service was issued by Mumbai Police Commissioner Hemant Nagrale, said a spokesperson of the city police.
A 1990-batch officer of the Maharashtra cadre, Waze, also known as an "encounter cop", was suspended after his arrest by the National Investigation Agency on March 13.

Hiren claimed that his car had got stolen on Mulund Airoli road after he parked it there and went towards Zaveri Bazaar in a cab. However, the cab driver in his statement to the ATS said Hiren had wanted to go to Crawford Market, few kilometers away from the Mumbai police headquarters and the CIU office. According to the driver Hiren got off near the CST station signal. The ATS has recovered CCTV footage and in the video, Vaze can be seen leaving the Mumbai police commissioner's office in a Mercedes car.
