Former Akali Dal minister Jagdish Singh Garcha has allegedly been robbed after being served food laced with intoxicants by one of his domestic helpers in Ludhiana.&nbsp;

Former Akali Dal minister Jagdish Singh Garcha was allegedly robbed by one of his domestic helpers in Ludhiana.
He, along with his wife, sister and a domestic helper were found unconscious at his residence on September 18. They were rushed to a hospital.
A male domestic help, who is missing after the incident, is the main suspect, said police.
Inspector Gurpreet Singh, SHO Sadar police station said that prima facie, the helper served food laced with intoxicants to the family on Sunday night and fled with cash, jewellery and other valuables. A probe was initiated.
Garcha is a former SAD MLA from Kila Raipur of Ludhiana and was a cabinet minister in the SAD-BJP government.

A leader of the Akali Dal's youth wing was shot dead in Punjab's Mohali district on Saturday morning.
The police said two of four masked attackers chased down Vikramjit Singh Middukhera, also known as Vicky Middukhera and began firing just as got inside his SUV
The attackers fired at him repeatedly, prompting him to run for cover.
Middukhera was in Mataur Market in Sector 71 to visit the office of a property dealer.
The entire incident was caught on a CCTV installed in the area and shows the shooters were waiting for Middukhera.
