'Day 1 biz tilts more towards mass centers, with #Mumbai remaining low,' trade analyst Taran Adarsh wrote, sharing the box office figures of 'Bholaa'.

'Bholaa', starring Ajay Devgn and Tabu, was released in theatres on March 30, 2023. The film narrates the story of a former prisoner Bholaa who is released from jail after 10 years. As he heads to meet his young daughter, he's arrested mid-way. He then joins forces with a police officer (Tabu) to protect a drug consignment from a gang of criminals. Directed by Ajay himself, the film has put up a decent box office score on Day 1.
Film analyst Taran Adarsh shared the box-office collection on Twitter and wrote, '#Bholaa puts up a decent score on Day 1 [#RamNavmi]&hellip; Healthy footfalls during spot bookings - towards evening shows specifically - compensate for the low turnout in morning + noon shows&hellip; Thu ₹ 11.20 cr. #India biz.'
He added, 'Day 1 biz tilts more towards mass centers, with #Mumbai remaining low&hellip; Needs to gather pace over the weekend for a respectable total.'
&lsquo;Bholaa&rsquo; also stars Deepak Dobriyal, Sanjay Mishra, and Vineet Kumar. Amala Paul and Abhishek Bachchan have cameo appearances. The music is by &lsquo;K.G.F&rsquo; composer Ravi Basrur and the cinematography is by Aseem Bajaj. &lsquo;Bholaa&rsquo; is the official remake of Lokesh Kanagraj's Tamil film &lsquo;Kaithi&rsquo;.

Ajay Devgn is now all set to direct ‘Bholaa’. This film will be his fourth film as a director. Ajay Devgn’s last film as a director was the thriller ‘Runway 34’, which had him and Amitabh Bachchan in the lead roles. 
‘Bholaa’ is touted to be a high-octane, strongly emotional drama. The film will have Tabu as the leading lady. Reports state that Ajay Devgn is eyeing to finish the principal photography of ‘Bholaa’ by August 20 this year. 
Speaking about ‘Bholaa’, Ajay Devgn said, “The preparation was done earlier on. It was just a question of getting behind the camera again and saying the three magic words-Lights, camera, action!’’
‘Bholaa’ is scheduled for a theatrical release on 30th March 2023.

The actor has announced his fourth directorial venture 'Bholaa,' a high-octane, emotional drama, after &lsquo;U, Me Aur Hum&rsquo;, &lsquo;Shivaay&rsquo; and &lsquo;Runway 34&rsquo;. The film, which is currently in production, will feature him in the lead role along with <a href="https://www.editorji.com/entertainment-news/bollywood/kartik-aaryan-shares-bhool-bhulaiyaa-2-s-bts-with-tabu-1656235360986" target="_blank">Tabu</a>. Ajay will reportedly complete the principal photography of the film by August 20.&nbsp; As per reports, 'Bholaa,' which is the Hindi adaptation of Tamil movie 'Kaithi,' was initially being helmed by Ajay Devgn's cousin Dharmendra Sharma.&nbsp;
