&lsquo;RRR&rsquo;s Golden Globes feat was celebrated across the country with congratulatory messages pouring in for the team. As Andhra CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy congratulated the film&rsquo;s team for their victory, he mentioned 'Telugu flag' which drew criticism from singer Adnan Sami.

Now, Andhra Pradesh&rsquo;s health minister Rajni Vidadala has slammed Adnan for confusing identity pride and separatism.

&lsquo;Whilst exhibiting pride of Origin, it is not beneath the dignity of a senior statesman such as a Chief Minister to share the pride of this achievement with his Nation INDIA which this State comes under &amp; in the name of which this Telugu film is being recognised abroad!&rsquo; Adnan Sami replied.

Singer-composer Adnan Sami recently took a trip down memory lane and recalled being stopped by an immigration officer in the US as he was unrecognisable from his passport photograph because of drastic weight loss.
In an interview with Bollywood Hungama, the singer said, &lsquo;I remember a few years ago when I was entering the US, they had a problem. Mujhe Google mai jaake unko dikhana pada ki look I am the same person and there are all these articles about my weight loss. And then when they saw the before and after, they were like he is the same guy.&rsquo;
He further shared that losing 130 kgs was a conscious effort. He also revealed that he had tried losing weight before that but had failed.

Adnan Sami said that his wardrobe has completely changed and added that he has kept a few of his old clothes as souvenirs.
On the work front, Adnan Sami&rsquo;s last track &lsquo;Alvida&rsquo; was released in July 2022.
