West Bengal Congress unit President Adhir Ranjan Chowdhary has sparked a row with his latest jibe at Prime Minister Narendra Modi.&nbsp;
Chowdhary while speaking on the issue of Rs. 2000 Currency Notes, allegedly got abusive and called PM Modi as 'Pagla Modi'.&nbsp;
In a video shared by news agency ANI, the WB Congress chief initially used derogatory words to describe himself and later referred to PM Modi as "mad" in the context of the people calling the PM mad.

 The Lok Sabha on Thursday witnessed noisy scenes after BJP members strongly protested against Congress leader Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury's remark on President Droupadi Murmu.
As soon as the House met at 11 am, Union Minister Smriti Irani accused Chowdhury of disrespecting Murmu by calling her 'Rashtrapatni'.
Irani claimed that Chowdhury has disrespected the entire tribal community, women, poor and the downtrodden by his remark.
Irani claimed that such humiliation of Murmu will not be tolerated by the poor, tribals and women of the country.
BJP MPs strongly supported Irani, inviting counter protests from Congress members.
As the turmoil continued, Speaker Om Birla adjourned the House till 12 noon.
Chowdhury is the leader of the Congress in the Lok Sabha and used the remark while talking to the media during his party's protests over a host of issues.
The Congress leader on Thursday said he never intended to disrespect the President of India and had inadvertently used a word while talking to the media.He also accused the ruling BJP of making a mountain out of a molehill.

There will be no winter session of Parliament this time because of the coronavirus outbreak, the government has said. According to an NDTV report, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Pralhad Joshi has said that all parties favour scrapping the session to avoid any Covid spread and jump straight to the Budget session in January. Joshi confirmed this in a letter responding to Congress leader Adhir Ranjan Chaudhary's demand for a session to discuss controversial new farm laws that are at the core of massive farmer protests on highways near Delhi.
