Mehra&nbsp;in his book, revealed Craig auditioned for the role of the British jailer&nbsp;who walked the three freedom fighters Bhagat Singh, Rajguru and Sukhdev to their hanging. Mehra&nbsp;added that Craig&nbsp;could not feature in the film at that time, as he was being considered for the role of James Bond.
The filmmaker added that Craig was his first choice, but the British actor requested more time as he was also being considered to be the next James Bond.&nbsp;
