Aaliya had discussed her failed marriage on the show which irked the contestants. Actor-director Pooja Bhatt advised her to drop the victim card. She said that many women have been through divorce and she herself had to go through it after 10 years of her marriage.&nbsp; &nbsp; Aaliya has two kids with actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui &ndash; daughter Shora and son Yaani. The couple is not divorced yet.&nbsp;

Aaliya made headlines after she filed cases against Nawazuddin, his brother and his mother. She had accused the actor and his family of harassment during their separation.
Earlier this year, she claimed Nawazuddin had thrown her and their two children &ndash; daughter Shora and son Yaani&ndash; out of his Mumbai house.
Nawazuddin then filed a defamation suit against Aaliya. The two have now reached a settlement amid their property dispute.

Recently, Aaliya had a show down with Pooja Bhatt who asked her not to play victim card by talking about her divorce, but focus on the game.

The film has a cameo by Aaliya’s estranged husband, actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui. In an interview with News18, she thanked him for making time for her film and choosing to play a small part in it.

Speaking with News18, Aaliya said, &lsquo;To play the part of a cop, we needed Nawaz and he knew that. He gave us his time and that&rsquo;s how we cast him in the film.

Aaliya Siddiqui thanked her estranged husband-actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui for working in her production &lsquo;Holy Cow&rsquo; which featured Sanjay Mishra in the lead role. The film was released in theatres in August 2022 and it started streaming on the OTT platform Prime Video on April 19. It's a very relevant film. Every filmmaker across the board wants to cast a star in their films. But sometimes a film requires solid performances.&rsquo; &lsquo;Holy Cow&rsquo; narrates the story of a Muslim man whose cow goes missing. Besides Sanjay and Nawazuddin, the film also starred Tigmanshu Dhulia and Sadiya Siddiqui in pivotal roles. &lsquo;Holy Cow&rsquo; was directed by Sai Kabir, who previously worked on films such as &lsquo;Revolver Rani&rsquo;, &lsquo;Kismat Konnection&rsquo;, and &lsquo;The Shaukeens&rsquo; among others. Actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui is willing to resolve legal issues with his estranged wife Aaliya. He informed the Bombay High Court that he will withdraw his claim for habeas corpus if allowed to meet his children.

Shikhar Khandelwal, the advocate appearing for Nawazuddin&rsquo;s estranged wife, said that the petition was infructuous because when it was filed Aaliya and the two children were living in a bungalow owned by the actor's mother. &lsquo;My client is willing to settle the matter. But when she is living with the children at the actor's mother's residence, then how is it possible that he does not know where they are? He is very much free to meet his children. He is the one who is not meeting them,&rsquo; Khandelwal said.
